I received a copy of Rush from the author. This is my honest review.

Vance has 1 goal in life, and that is to put an end to his father’s illegal operation. He is working with both sides of the law to make sure his goal comes to fruition. Everything is going according to plan, well that is until he meets Lauren.

Lauren needs a break from life; time to think. So she and her best friend, Marcy, take a road trip to Marcy’s Yaya’s in Alabama. All is going well until Vance appears in her life an flips it upside down. She is supposed to be using her time away from home to think, not to start falling for the sexy as sin local surf shop owner.

Vance knows Lauren is just what his father is looking for in his operation. The problem is Vance is starting to fall for Lauren but he knows it’s not safe for her to be in his life. He is going to have to try and keep his father from seeing Lauren if he wants to keep her safe.

I love me some romantic suspense and Brooke Page really writes it well. I have always been a fan of her words and Rush was no different. A real page turner from the start. Rush is the 1st book in the Riptide series. Silly me- I finished in 1 day now I’m just impatiently waiting for book 2. I am really excited to see what happens next.
