Four women who have struggled to accept their imperfections search for a happiness they can’t believe they deserve.

Chloe’s life was perfect until she found a questionable photo on her husband’s phone and then received news that shocked her entire world.

Abi, Chloe’s sister, is a newly single mom who’s been pretending that life away from Grey’s Harbor is ideal instead of admitting that she’s been running away. She knows that once she returns home, she’ll never leave again and may lose every chance at independence.

Neena’s finishing college, but her troubled family life threatens to throw her off track time and again. When the unexpected happens it changes everything she’s ever known.

At first glance, Gina has the perfect life, husband, and children, but the person she presents to others doesn’t reflect who she is on the inside. A horrific childhood haunts her as she desperately runs from a past that refuses to let her go.

Two of these women will find love, one will learn to accept a life she never thought she could, and one will die as each of them search for perfection, in Grey’s Harbor.

Review by Tenise

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I received a copy of the book from the author. This is my honest review.

Perfect Seas tells the stories of Chloe, Neena, Gina, and Abi. 4 women; 2 sisters, 2 best friends, and 1 connected to the other 3 by chance. They are all from the oceanside town of Grey’s Harbor. They all have their own story to tell. Each story intertwines with the others. The stories all have some bad times and some good times. Unfortunately some of them are worse than the others.

I liked how the book was from multiple POV’s. It was written in a way that the reader knows who is talking without backtracking. I really appreciated the flow from one person to the next. Make sure you have the tissues handy. These women have all had their struggles and their stories really pulled at my heart strings.
I laughed with them.
I cried with them.
And just hoped that everything would be okay in the end.

Jennifer Sivec writes beautifully broken stories with heart.

She is attracted to and writes stories with characters that are complicated, flawed and completely imperfect. Her books are often a reflection of life, encompassing difficult subjects such as cancer, addiction, abandonment, and abuse. She writes with a raw, complex, yet hopeful approach often weaving tragic stories with honesty and grace, creating unforgettable characters.

Jennifer has been writing since she was in the fourth grade but didn’t publish her first novel until 2014, and has been writing non-stop since. Her passion for reading and sharing stories gives her perspective and peace of mind.

She lives in Ohio with her husband, two boys, and two dogs who create balance and levity for her. She loves her crazy life and wonderful readers, and is grateful for all of it, every day.
