What was supposed to be a fun girls night started out with me being pulled over for speeding. I thought for sure I was getting a ticket, but a familiar face let me off with a warning.

I picked this up because my BFF said I should read it. Derek Masters is a new to me author. This was a quick read but not short on anything.
Tara is finally having a girls night out with her bestie. When running late to pick her up she finds herself stopped on the side of the road with those lovely red and blue lights flashing behind her. Officers Tyler is ready to toss the book at her when Austin realizes she is his dream girl from high school at lets her go.
Tara’s night goes from that to worse when her designated driver is plastered at the end of the night, so she calls officer Austin for a ride home. After dropping off her friend the 3 continue the party at Tara’s home. This truly turns Tara’s night around.
I enjoyed this story and would definitely enjoyed reading more of it. I would love to hear more of Tara and Austins story see the first date and more.
