Review by Twinsie Tenise

The book takes place on earth in the year 2044. It starts when Kellan meets someone named Rhone in the park. After their encounter, Kellan people watches for a week hoping to see Rhone again- he just can’t seem to get them out of his mind. It was beginning to seem like Rhone didn’t really exist.

I really enjoyed this book about love and acceptance. There are definitely lessons to be learned from it. Sometimes it may seem like its easier to walk away then to deal with the hurtful words and looks of others because society has a hard time dealing with things they consider different. But, you need to listen to your heart and ignore the negativity that may be lurking round you if you want find your happily ever after.

I can honestly say What Blooms Beneath was the very first LGBTQ fantasy book I have read. It was absolutely amazing and definitely set the bar high for any books I read from the same genre. I look forward to reading more of this genre, hopefully by the same author, in the future!

About A.D. Ellis

Escape into addictive, sexy, emotional romance.
A.D. Ellis is an Indiana girl, born and raised. She spends much of her time in central Indiana as an instructional coach/teacher in the inner city of Indianapolis, being a mom to two amazing school-aged children, and wondering how she and her husband of nearly two decades haven’t driven each other insane yet. A lot of her time is also devoted to phone call avoidance and her hatred of cooking.
She loves chocolate, wine, pizza, and naps along with reading and writing romance. These loves don’t leave much time for housework, much to the chagrin of her husband. Who would pick cleaning the house over a nap or a good book? She uses any extra time to increase her fluency in sarcasm.
