Melonie Johnson is a Star Wars junkie and Shakespeare groupie who quotes both Yoda and the Bard with equal aplomb. Known as #thewritinglush, she loves dark coffee, cheap wine, and expensive beer. And margaritas. And mimosas. And mules. Basically any cocktail that starts with the letter m. A USA Today bestselling author who Kirkus declared a “writer to watch” and Entertainment Weekly described as a “fizzy, engrossing voice” her smart funny contemporary romances are known for their witty banter and strong cast of female friendships; including the romantic comedies TOO WRONG TO BE RIGHT (named one of the top 10 Romances of 2023 by Booklist) and TOO GOOD TO BE REAL, as well as her award-winning Sometimes in Love debut series GETTING HOT WITH THE SCOT, SMITTEN BY THE BRIT, and ONCE UPON A BAD BOY. I met Angie at Lori Foster’s RAGT and was so inspired by the work Healing With Words does I knew I wanted to be a part of WOTR!
