Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.

Raine Winters. I am a contemporary romance and fantasy author from the Midwest. Writing is my passion. When I’m not writing, I spend my down time with my husband and two corgis either hiking, kayaking, or biking. (And yes we do take the corgis with us everywhere we can)

 

How did you hear about this event?  How many years have you attended?

I’ve been following the event for two years, but this is my first opportunity to attend!

 

What genres do you write?

contemporary romance and fantasy

 

What is a book of yours you wish more people read?

This one is hard. I’m really torn between Whirlwind Redemption and Starlit Whispers. These two novels are really where I got my feet under me as an author, and I think it shows. The two siblings in these books are my heart. They challenged me at every turn, and they pushed me to think of things a way I never have before (Raven I’m looking at you).

 

What is one fun fact about you?  It can be anything like food allergy, fear of something, weird way you broke a bone…….

I once tried hiking without coffee first. Never again. I still have emotional damage.
