Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.

My name is Brandy Blackmon. I’m currently based in the Chicagoland area. I am an animal lover with amazing fur babies that I look forward to seeing everyday after my day job as a driver. My love for writing goes as far back as I can remember with a picture book I wrote and drew at the age of maybe 7 or 8. Writing has always been my calling, and I hope more people can sit back and enjoy the ride I created in my books.

 

How did you hear about this event?  How many years have you attended?

I found this event through a Facebook group that talked about it.

 

What genres do you write?

I currently write YA Romance.

 

What is a book of yours you wish more people read?

My Choice is the first in my series I hope more people pick up to start their journey in the Choices series.

 

What is one fun fact about you?  It can be anything like food allergy, fear of something, weird way you broke a bone…….

I once made a music video for a singing competition I had no business participating in, and always look back at that whenever I feel down, and laugh at the cringe.
