Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.

I’m Shannyn Schroeder and I write steamy contemporary romance mostly set in Chicago. Some things you can count on in my books: big families with nosy siblings, pizza!, someone’s gonna get drunk, and the F word is used liberally.

 

How did you hear about this event?  How many years have you attended?

I don’t remember how I first heard about it. This will be my 6th year. It’s one of my favorite (if not THE fave) of the year. I love everything about it.

 

What genres do you write?

What is a book of yours you wish more people read?

In Fine Form – It came out last year and it’s book 2 of The Doyle Family. I love Declan. He’s a golden retriever hero who’s good with his hands (get your mind out of the gutter – he’s a carpenter). He reads romance with Renee and joins her book club. He’s great with her daughter. He’s just fun. (you can Declan as a standalone)

 

What is one fun fact about you?  It can be anything like food allergy, fear of something, weird way you broke a bone…….

I was once thrown out of a Little Caesar’s for saying the F word.
