This is a collection of 4 novellas where the heroes are protective of the women they fell hard and fast for. This is great when you want a full story and don’t have all day to dedicate to reading especially around the holidays. You can read one of the stories if you only have an hour or so or you can read all 4 if you have more time. Each story is different and kept me turning pages to find out what was going to happen.
I enjoyed each story and reading about each couple. Each story takes place in a small town, with mystery, suspense and romance. A Hero for Hollis is about Dave and Hollis. Defending Darcy, we learn Mike and Darcy’s story. Penn’s Hero is all about Penny and Mitch. The final story is Chaos on Christmas Eve with Ryan and Willow.
