I was given this book for an honest review by the author.

To say I am thrilled to be back in the world of this family is to be an understatement.  I fell in hardcore love with the parents of the main girl, Riley, in this story.  To see her grown up and learning about her past was an exciting prospect.  The other main character, Caleb, was the son of another crazy couple’s story. I was super excited to see how he grew up.  You want to know their back story, then read the parents’ stories!!

Riley grew up with the best dad every…or did she.  She finds something that makes her question if Wes really does love her.  She cannot believe she has been lied to her entire life.  She demands her friend for life/current possible love interest help her get to the bottom of this new surprise in her life.  Her demands lead them on a cross country chase for answers and makes her daydream about possible new outcomes to her life.

Caleb is seriously the sweetest, kindest person in the world.  He loves Riley and will do anything for her including following her hairbrained scheme to travel across the USA to find an answer to her question. He is supportive and does everything to make her happy all the while keeping in touch with family back home.  He is also worried about her crazy plan but the good boyfriend in him needs to keep her safe.

Riley was not my favorite character.  I did not connect with her and felt Caleb deserved better than her a lot of the time in the novel. Caleb was always doing things to make everyone happy and this caused him the one things that made him happy….Riley.  I don’t know if the fact I don’t read lot of NA novels is maybe why I didn’t connect with her.

I loved catching up with the families and can’t wait for Easton because he is a little shit started for sure.

This series is about the kiddos from Heather’s Broken Series.  The series starts with Caleb and Riley. They were friends growing up but not so much now. Riley is trying to get through a breakup and things are just not going her way.  She realizes Caleb is working for her dad at the gym and she finds out a family secret all the summer before she leaves for college.

Riley is on a mission to go on a road trip to figure things out for herself after she realizes things she believed were truth are not quite as they seemed. She enlists the help of Caleb to go with her on this summer road trip.  Caleb was amazing though out this book he was so patient and put up with a lot from Riley. I’m afraid I may have left her on the side of the road sometimes.  Although maybe not I would not want the wrath of Wes after me.

Most of the ride Riley has her rose colored glasses on and starts to dream about what kind of life she could have. Caleb is supportive but tries to keep her grounded. Caleb also keeps in touch with those at home that would be worried when they went missing. He is such a great protector Wes would be proud well maybe not that proud.  Riley feels like she has been lied to by everyone and when they return realizes Caleb lied to her also. Now their relationship is on the rocks.

I absolutely loved Caleb but Riley could be a bit much at times. I liked the scenes between Wes and Riley at the gym.  I am looking forward to seeing the other kiddos in this series. Feels like I’m going back home for a family reunion.

I was giving this book for a review and this is my honest opinion 

Holy hawt damn… this book wow ur gonna need a cold rag to help cool you down. So Gigi and Vince have known each other their whole life, had feeling for each other but there was a age difference and neither one wanted to  admit their feelings for the other. Well they both gave each other their virginity the night of Vince’s 18th birthday right before he went off to school. 3 years later feels are still there and they are still having fun, will these two finally get their heads outta of their asses and let the other one know how they feel and knock down all the walls that’s surrounding their hearts. Or will they let other people feelings dictate how they live, with constants obstacles trying to get between them will they get their happiness that they both have been wanting for their whole lives. This book was amazing like everything JM writes you will never been disappointed in her words and the sexiness is on point and on fire.

Vince and Gigi…I have been WAITING for these two to get it together and finally admit there is something there! Gigi needs to stop pushing him away because he is younger and Vince needs to grab his woman and claim her.

This story is a great age gap, friends to lovers, friends from childhood, etc story. Vince and Gigi have always had a powerful chemistry.  Both wanted the other and did things to make the other jealous/take notice but secretly pined for the other…..ok so Vince quietly chased away any prospective dates for Gigi but who cares…LOL

This story is told as a little bit of a slow burn but once Vince and Gigi hit the sheets, the burn is met with gasoline and it’s an explosion of dirty words and positions. Not enough Orbit gum people not close to enough!!!

Vince has known he loved Gigi and was going to do anything and everything to prove to her he was her forever.  Gigi had slowly grown her attraction for Vince but the fear of the age gap and how her friends would respond held her back.

One night of passion changed everything and then 3 years later they are back to face down what happened and the walls she erected after their night together.

Vince…OMG he needs a medal for his ability to deal with Gigi and her walls.  They were taller then the Nights Watch in Game of Thrones..dunno the reference I am sorry for you…..He puts up with some much from his girl.  He will not let her go and will do everything to let her know he is never leaving again.  Gigi is a hot ass mess for this boy…errrr….man who has stolen her heart and melted down each and every wall she has tried to put up.

When they finally realize they are not going anywhere and they are going forward some weird things start to happen and some weird vibes start to appear.  Gigi and Vince have to deal with some trauma that could break them apart if they aren’t able to deal with it.

I am going to say it but Vince might be my favorite of The Next Generation Kids.  I love Meadow as my favorite girl, but Vince is the swoon worthiest male of them all I think.  Seriously…SWOON WORTHY!!!!  But damn that mouth too!!!  LOL  Gigi is his Queenie in public and his little slut in private!!

OMG so excited it is finally Vince and Gigi turn.  These two were meant to be ever since they were little. Vince has loved Gigi ever since he was little, but he is five years younger than Gigi and he knows he must by his time to prove he is enough for Gigi. When he turns 18 they share what Gigi thought was a special moment before he left for school.

Vince is 21 and returned home now is his time to make his move on Gigi. Gigi is his and always has been. Vince hurt Gigi bad and she has some big walls that he needs to tear down. Vince is patient and tries to convince her what he knows. OK she may know it too but not ready to let him in.

This is an amazing slow burn and when these two finally get together they are like an explosive. Age is just a number and has no bearing when chemistry is involved. I love seeing these two together and how they interact together. We even get a few twists in here too. I do believe Vince is my favorite so far but are a few more on the way so we will have to see if he can hold on to that special place in my heart.

Sweet torture and a glutton for punishment. Life isn’t perfect and we don’t always get what we think we need. Think, being the key word. Things never seem to go the way you want but in the end it just works. The story is a bit on the cliche’ side because ultimately we have a nerdy type of girl who essentially has a makeover and then gets the attention of the hot guy. Only in this story, she has the attention of two brothers…both are hot in their own ways. Sky gets Baker to agree to help her get a date with his brother, Luke. Then the fun starts! Baker moves in with Sky as part of the deal. But then they start to get close. Both of them have secrets…and both involve part of their family. These secrets are most definitely not cliche’. You seriously need to read this.  As things continue to unfold they can’t deny the pull that they have between each other but Sky still can’t decide if she wants Luke or if she is falling in love with Baker. 

“Do you have your Finnegans confused?” This is one of my favorite lines because this sums Sky up completely!

We have the hot jock, the rebel fighter, and the sweet librarian. All of the makings of a romantic comedy that will keep you turning the pages. Even though some of the story is cliche’, it is still a fun read with its own twist. And that makes it a must read!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I was really looking forward to this book but kinda feel it was just as much Daniel’s book as it was Pam’s book.  This book was Pam dealing with her past that also affected her son Daniel and mate Duncan.  We find out even more about Kenny, what he did we didn’t know about, and who he was in business with we didn’t previously know.  Like dude was so bad!!

We also see Duncan trying too be a badass warrior but also dealing with his son and mate’s need to know and not know what is happening in the world.  We see Daniel coming to terms with what makes him special plus what may be his downfall.  We see Pam struggling as a mom, wife, social service employee and so much more.  She wants her family to be safe and her friends to be ok, but she is also losing control of everything around her.

The book was good as it moved us forward in the world.  We see Duncan and Pam reaffirming their love and commitment to each other, but we also see the struggles that being parents have on them.

I loved getting to know grown up Daniel.  I can’t wait for his real book even though I am sure it’s a ways off since he is not ready for “grown up stuff” yet.

I loved the movement in the story line of Charger and Raven.  I am eagerly awaiting that book in my greedy hands!!

So when I read this book pre-publication I didn’t know who the book was about.  Imagine my shock when I find out it was Bee (Tray and Zillah’s daughter) and the Anti-hero Tanner!!!  GASP! What a shocker.  Then to make it even more bananas, it’s a SLOW BURN by JM….uhm what?  Does she even know how to do Slow Burn?  I mean JM has her characters banging on like page 1!!!  Well friends, I can fully report she is VERY ABLE TO SLOW BURN (or Cock Block as Tanner says) us readers.

Tanner…ya’ll we hate him right!!  I mean he is vile, evil, and he did bad stuff to Sunny *Sniff* plus he put our girl Meadow through some stuff for a stupid ring from his daddy.  I gotta say JM Had her work cut out for us in loving him.  But friends…..I DO LOVE HIM…………I mean….I Wanna have his babies and I wanna cuddle and watch movies with him…YES he is total book boyfriend material!!

Tanner… friends he is complex…yeah let’s just say complex.  We soon discover a lot about him.  We learn he is on the run and hiding from people.  He is looking to figure out who is after him and why???

Bee is a girl and a very protected girl in Greyson’s Biker Family.  The twins make sure she does not have too much fun or get taken advantage of when partying.  So one night after being drug away from her friends, she sits at home with wine shaking her booty when Tanner appears!  Her kind heart takes one look at him and decides to help him…a stranger in need…someone she has no clue hurt family members in her family club……….ya’ll know this is gonna go crazy right.  I mean Grey flips out but helps Tanner thanks to being vouched for by some pretty important people.

The story of Tanner getting his answers is a great one and I was like WHAT!!!  And Oh SNAP this is no Bueno!!  But friends the love story between Tanner and Bee is probably one of my favorites.  I think JM did a solid job developing these characters.  She made sure they knew about the other before getting involved.  They knew the uphill battle they faced with her family and his reputation and yet they are willing to risk everything for that love.

I received this book from the author but purchased the audio book.

Ok since I am reviewing the audio book I gotta say….HEEEY Rhenn’s narrator.  Holy Sweet Baby Jesus that voice.  Imma tell ya, you will be thanking me for that right off the bat.  I don’t want to know what the narrator really looks like because my mind has his picture juuuuuust right.  LOL  Now I see he does the voice for the other 2 books…….YES is all I can say.

So this is my first Lacey book….yeah yeah I know late to the party like always but ya know what can I say. I have only known her 5 years *Face Palm*

I gotta say I loved the dynamic of quiet and shy but sassy Marissa with Rhenn.  Rhenn is all playa playa who falls for the women who embodies his exact opposite type…ya know, she isn’t an easy whore.  LOL

Marissa is devastated by her family’s business/home fire and is lost because what will they do.  When her long lost family enters the picture, she gets connected to Rhenn who will be doing the family a favor and wiring the house for them.

When Rhenn shows up, he is stunned stupid at the beautiful women he sees but knows she isn’t “his type” and a quick roll won’t be something she is interested in.  When, after getting to know him, she proposes Friends with Benefits while he is in town….he flips out.

I loved seeing them fall but fear telling the other.  They both want more but she fears she isn’t good enough and he is ashamed of his past.  When the two weeks is up and they part, I was a little bit weepy and wanted to kick Rhenn in the balls.

The end of the story is perfect and totally swoon worthy.

I gotta say Emma and Orville KILLED ME in this story.  Marissa’s long-lost aunt and uncle were to inappropriately funny in this book.  I can’t wait for more of them in the rest of the books.  I am kinda giving brother Samuel a look over because I just know the right women or even man could make that anal-retentive ass crumble.  But first up is sexy diva Harper.  I can’t wait to see who tames this wild child!!

Avid reader, writer, mother, and wife! I love to read contemporary romance. Add in a little “spice” or hot guys in uniform pants, and I’m a happy woman. There’s just something about diving into a book and engrossing in the magic of your hero and heroine getting their happily ever after.

Holy Hells Bells!!

Jaron Mercer is so much like his father, Greyson, in so many ways!!

Piper!! Holy shit did I fall in love with her like I did her parents, Max and Dale!!

If this story is any indication of how the rest of the kid’s books will be, we are going to be in for a hell of a good read!!

Jaron and Piper’s story is only the beginning and you get to meet them in the Wanted anthology. They have some serious issues of loving each other for a long time but never really acting on the feelings until Paris. The two of them have finally lit that fuse and now they can’t stop what is meant to be.
This is a short and quick story, but it leaves me LONGING for the rest because trust me friends, this book is JUST the beginning of their long love story!!!
