Waiting For It by [Allyson Lindt]

Anne
Crunch time.

Two words every game developer fears, and I’m living the horror of impossibly long work days, that bleed into weekends.

The only upside is spending a lot of that time with my sexy-as-sin boss. I probably shouldn’t get physical him, but the need for stress relief is real, and so is the size of his… desk.

Then word gets back to my best friend’s brother.

The guy whose house I practically grew up in. Who I thought saw me as a second sister. Talk about jealousy. Though I’m not sure if it’s toward me, or my boss. Apparently they hooked up a few times, too.

One thing leads to another leads to the three of us playing naked Twister without the mat.

Review by Twinsie Angie

I purchased this book and audio.

I was excited to read this book.  I mean what girl doesn’t love an MFM story with a side of MM??  *points to me* This girl does!!

Anne is lusting over her boss Luke.  She gets caught lusting over him after a kissing session by Chase who also starts to throw his hat in the ring for Anne’s attention.

The three of them have to figure out who is stealing company information and leaking it before their big game is released.  While they are working on the thief, they are also working on getting a relationship going.  A few bumps, miscommunications, and “what ifs” cause some drama for the three but they all know they want to make this think work.

I gotta say I was loving the history of Chase and Luke which made everything even better when they start to give Anne some eyes.  The story was a quick, steamy read for anyone who loves some funny banter and nerdy references.

Allyson Lindt has been telling stories since before she could put the words on paper. She was lucky enough to marry her muse and soul mate. Their cats are their children, and when they’re not spending way too much time gaming, they’re building new worlds together. She loves a sexy happily-ever-after and helping deserving couples find their futures together.

#REVIEW – Red Hunted: A Ménage Romance Duet (Subscribe, Live, Love Book 1) by Allyson Lindt

Fiona’s dabbling in kink with her best guy-friend and a sexy-as-sin stranger. Learning to let go has never felt so good.

Fiona’s tech startup is hovering on the verge of collapse.

Her best friend, Parker, has a solution. His travel vlog is competing to be the internet’s next big thing, and he’s going to promote her app on his show. She just has to accompany him during filming.

A road trip with her sexy best friend that includes some off-camera with-benefits action?

Fiona’s on board with that.

Especially when Wyatt, the gorgeous and dominant man they meet in a bar, offers to help Fiona and Parker explore their attraction to each other, and him.

Submitting to a filthy-hot hookup with two incredible guys?

Fiona’s fantasies were never this scorching.

Too bad Wyatt forgot to mention he works for the competition, and he’ll do whatever it takes to see Fiona’s app crash and burn.
I’m a huge fan of Allyson Lindt, even before I actually knew that I designed some covers for her or that she read my own books. I’m a dork when it comes to this stuff, so I fan girled hard. Lol! Anyway, onto the review: Fiona and Parker have been friends forever. Parker has his own YouTube channel and has become quite famous. It’s not overly Fiona’s thing even though she looks good on camera. The views love that chemistry, ya know? Fiona eventually agrees to go with Parker on one of his trips and they meet Wyatt at a bar. Wyatt is fun. Oh so fun. He’s dominant and the glue I think the couple needs, even though they don’t know it of course. Wyatt gives them a push, just a gentle one, and sparks fly! But of course, Wyatt has some secrets that eventually come out and it destroys what little progress he made with Parker and Fiona. This is book one in a duet and it leaves you wanting more! All I can hope for is that the throuple end up together!

#REVIEW – Control Games (Game for Cookies Book 2) by Allyson Lindt

Julie is living her dream.

She’s opening a video-game themed cookie bouquet shop with her best friend. But even dreams come with stress and sleepless nights.

Their primary investor, Dante, is as overbearing in real life as he is on his award winning cooking show. On the other hand, he’s sexy as hell, and his boyfriend, Christopher, is as kind as he is a gorgeous, drool-worthy geek of a guy.

She likes looking, but she’d rather have a hands-on experience.

When the tension of trying to keep her business together threatens to tear Julie apart, Christopher’s got a solution for teaching her to share the workload. If she can surrender control in the bedroom, it might help her delegate in the office.

Is submission worth the cost?

What starts as game where blindfolds and submission are the board pieces becomes more serious. Until Julie discovers that Dante and Christopher have kept a secret from her that shatters her trust, leaving their hearts and jobs one move away from game over.

Twinsie Jo’s Review:

First off. Oh Christopher. Ooohlala.

So I was intrigued by Julie and Dante’s not so nice relationship while reading the first book. And when I realized they were getting their book, I knew this was going to be fun. The only thing I wished because I’m a freak and all, was that the first BIG fight they had, ended up in crazy hot intense sex. But I got why it didn’t happen. The tension was INSANE and it drove me nuts. But I also loved it. I’m a masochist that way.

I really loved the dynamic between this trio but I have to say, that I REALLY loved Christopher’s character. I’m partial to Dominant men so maybe that’s why? Either way, all three characters worked well together. I hope the author does more to this series although I’m not sure what other side characters could get stories. Either way, I’m satisfied if there is no more.

Now onto the next book!

#REVIEW – Seduction Games (Game for Cookies Book 1) by Allyson Lindt

Andi’s been denied funding—again—to expand her cookie business, and walked in on her boyfriend screwing another woman. Saying she’s had better days is an understatement.

Kane and Isaiah, her online gaming partners and the cutest couple ever as far as Andi’s concerned, know exactly how to cheer her up. They’re thinking road trip to Las Vegas, compete in a national first person shooter competition for a cash grand prize, and find her a one night stand to take her mind off her cheating ex.

Andi’s all in… except she’s not sure she can seduce a random hookup. Isaiah and Kane offer to give her some hands-on experience. With each new lesson, it becomes harder for Andi to remember the guys are just friends.

If Andi can’t put some distance between their seductive three-way hookups and her heart, it will cost their team the competition, and she’ll lose two of the best friends she’s ever had.

Publisher’s Note: This book was previously released as Will Game for Cookies (For the Win Book 1)

Twinsie Jo’s Review:

I was looking for a book last night. I had no idea what I wanted to read but then I came across this one. And I’m SO glad I gave it a chance. Hot boys and gaming? Yes please! NERD alert! Now, I don’t play. I used to play like Zelda and stuff but nothing more than that but the fact that there are competitions for games, fascinates me. But anyway, let’s review.

Andi has her heart broken something fierce. Buuuut…is it really that broken? James was a douche canoe and I personally would just be more embarrassed over it than anything.

Andi and her two team mates, head to a gaming competition in Vegas and the sparks fly during this trip. I have to say that Kane’s hot and cold bothered me but that’s good! It means the author did something right. But when everything gets revealed, *swoon*, it was just everything I could hope for in an ending.

Also, the fact that Andi and her best friend are trying to run a cookie business, is even more reason to fall in love with this story.
