#REVIEW – Back River Quiver by Alexa Riley and Jessa Kane

Morgan is just looking to have a fun spring break until her workaholic mom brings along her new boyfriend. But when she ditches the two of them she ends up lost in a swamp, ankle deep in mud, and facing down a gator the size of Godzilla.

Rixen has been praying for God to send him his angel, his rightful mate who will live with him in the swamp and bear his children. When he finds the strawberry-blonde beauty before him in danger, he doesn’t hesitate to save her. Then claim his reward.

Warning: Okay, so, um, this is amazing terrible. This is so over the top, it’s on top of over the top. This book is on the level of ridiculous that surpasses all our stunts before this. You know what happens when we team up with Jessa Kane…but this is hands down the best/worst we’ve ever done. And we’re so proud we could wrestle a gator. Spoiler: There’s a lot of animal wrestling ahead. Grab your overalls and bug spray, we’re going in the bayou.

Um…okay…wow. I didn’t think it was possible but this is surely this duo’s hottest book to date.

Rixen is something else. He’s all male. Animal. Beast. Powerful. And pure deliciousness.

Morgan goes on vacation. Car breaks down. She starts walking through the bayou and of course gets lots. Rixen saves the day and holy crap…I’m still reeling over this.

This story is short, over the top and like I mean, not their usual OTT ways but this is over the top to the extreme. And it was amazing. Rixen is my favourite male of these authors and I would not oppose to them writing and more and more of this couple or men like him.

I now need a smoke.

Rex spends a lot of time on king crab fishing boats. So much time that he’s never bothered to settle down . So the day he sees his step-niece for the first time, he’s not ready for what she makes him feel.

Clara is old enough to make her own decisions, and she’s decided she wants her step-uncle Rex. Everyone is telling her it’s wrong, but she can only follow her heart. She just needs to be ready for the consequences when he finally claims her.

Warning: When Jessa and Alexa team up you know it’s going to be terrible. Terribly-wonderful! This over-the-top tidal wave of love is about to sweep you under. Don’t worry, you’ll thank us!

Twinsie Jo’s Review:

Wow. Well this one was fun. Short and hot. Insanely hot. And taboo of course. I’m still new to Alexa Riley and this is my first book by these ladies where they team up with Jessa again. But from what I can tell, these authors pack quite a punch in the kindle explosion department.

Rex doesn’t know who his step-niece is so when this beautiful young thing falls into his arms, literally, he takes advantage of it. But of course, it’s short lived when they get caught.

I love the Daddy/little girl dynamic in this. I haven’t read many stories with this so it was refreshing. Rex is everything Clara needs and Clara is everything that makes the big bear of a man turn into a lovable kitten. Until she misbehaves of course.
