Release: Summer 2017

Seth Owens, co-owner of Club Alias, has always taken full-advantage of the endless supply of willing submissives who frequent his high-end establishment. But he’s never trusted anyone enough to let them get to know the man beneath the leather mask.

Twyla Quill has always been the good girl, the responsible one, which has left her no time to indulge in the many pleasures of life—much less a relationship.

When Twyla finally convinces her sister to leave her abusive boyfriend, they have no choice but to move across the country and hide out, away from the monster determined to get her sister back. With their savings quickly running out, Twyla takes a position at the local sex shop—where she meets Seth, a man who is all too willing to show her what she’s been missing out on.

What happens when the witty Dom meets the sweet new girl in town? Sparks fly and a whirlwind romance neither ever saw coming begins. But will Seth be able to protect the woman he considers his?

Seven is a spinoff of The Confession Duet, but can be read as a stand alone.

Twinise Jo’s Review:

I absolutely love Twyla. She knows nothing when it comes to sex. She doesn’t even know who Christian grey is. She is witty, smart and determined. She also enjoys keeping Seven on his toes. She’s a breath of fresh air and she’s so freaking adorable, I just want to eat her up and be her best friend.

Seth or “Seven” is something else. He’s fun. Hilarious. And can quote most movies out there, especially Deadpool. But put his Dom mask on and holy crapoli.

I enjoy these books because they educate about BDSM. Four Dominants who own a BDSM club? Yes please!

I’m insanely intrigued about the other guys but alas, I have to be patient.

The side characters were an added bonus and I enjoyed seeing a couple chapters from Astrid, Twyla’s sister. She seems like a tough person to break and I know Doc will help make her happy.

With some suspense thrown in, this book is the perfect combination of love, passion and knowledge about the BDSM community.

#REVIEW – Truth Revealed (Confession Duet, #2) by K.D. Robichaux

Blurb:

It’s been a decade since I divorced the love of my life, after her confession while I was deployed. Ten years since I spoke to Vi, my soul mate, the girl who had brought me to life only to stab me in the heart, sending me into an even darker state than where I was before I met her. Ten years, I’ve been watching her from afar, keeping tabs. After a decade in the Army, two Purple Hearts and a Medal of Honor under my belt, I was kicked out with an honorable discharge, knowing no other skill than One Shot One Kill. Two years later, I’m part of a group of mercenaries who carry out justice. Criminals who hide behind their fancy lawyers and power—we take care of them and make it all look like karma. And with intel from our founder, Dr. Walker, a therapist with a long list of predators whose victims were too scared to turn them in, work is plenty and fulfilling. Until Vi begins her sessions and I discover the reality I’ve lived the past ten years was nothing but a lie, when the truth is revealed.

Twinsie Jo’s Review:

*sigh*

Where do I even begin? These stories are something else. I don’t usually get emotional while reading books but something about this duet, struck a chord with me. Truth Revealed is the second in this intense delicious duet and man oh man does it pack a punch.

K.D. delves deep into the BDSM lifestyle as a way for Liv to heal after a tragic incident in book 1. Her story breaks my heart. And the healing process even more so. The reasons why she did what she did to protect the love of her life, made perfect sense. I won’t give it away. You need to read this story. 😉

After Corbin ends things with Liv, it never really ended. He watches her, makes sure to keep her safe and so on without her knowing. He’s protective of her and does anything to keep harm away from her.

Corbin runs a “security” type company with a couple other guys and I have to say that I really really need to know more about the other men in his life. His brothers, his friends, I need their stories.

I loved Dr. Walker as a side character and I’m itching for his book. Fingers crossed he gets one.

One of my favourite scenes is at the end of the book when Corbin reveals himself to Liv. It was heartbreaking and intense. For both he and Liv.

This duet is definitely my favourite of 2017 so far and I can’t wait to read more from KD.
