I received this book from the authors for an honest review.

This is the 2^nd story of the series. I loved the first book so when Victoria asked if I wanted an ARC of this book, I jumped!!!

This is the story of Domnall and Davina…the story goes from when they were 10-year olds through adulthood.

Domnall was the son of 2 kings and the rightful heir to the throne. His grandfather, The current King, annulled his parent’s marriage which leaves him untitled annnnnnd viewed as a BASTARD!! Gasp! He has made it his life long goal to avenge his rightful lands. Along the way to his father, he finds a slaughtered family who’s only remaining member is a young girl.

Davina is the daughter of a knight. Her entire family was murdered, and she was saved by Domnall. She finds herself living as a ward of the King but because she does have lands, the king can decide who she is to marry when she is old enough.

Domnall and Davina have some lessons to learn about trust, the court and family. Their love story is so very enthralling. There is mystery and deceit along the way for the couple

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

As I read this book I Kept picturing the TV show Vikings because of the characters names and the whole Valhalla, Norsemen plus the raids…YES I Love it.

This book is about two broken and incomplete souls. Bjorn is lost without his wife and children. Gwened is lost because her Hugo, he betrothed, was killed in a Viking battle.

Gwened is forced in to a loveless marriage with Hugo’s younger brother and is basically just passing the time by. When she hears of the Viking raids she runs to her sister, she is book 2 of the series, to see if she can help aid them. She is stunned to hear her sister is married to one of the Vikings and WILLINGLY none the less!! GASP right!!

Gwened and Bjorns have a soft truce and begin to respect one another. When a night of passion soon turns into confusion, they are both left lost and lonely once again.

I loved the story but thought it might have been a little bit rushed toward the end of the story. I would have liked to see more interaction between Bjorn nd Gwened’s husband over what would become of the lands. But otherwise I loved the book and can’t wait for more!!

I received this book from the publisher on NetGalley for an honest review.

I loved the ending story for Ty and Monica!!! This story ended in a cliffhanger from book 1. We had no clue what was going to happen to the oil and water couple. When Monica’s dad dies she is sent reeling. He was the only person to ever love her unconditionally. She goes to his ranch to settle his estate and finalize his will. She is stunned that Ty was left so much of her dad’s property but also happy that Ty (Tom’s son essentially) would be getting control of the hotel and the family homestead.

Ty is stunned at what Tom left him and then is thrilled at the hopes of keeping Monica by his side at the hotel in Vegas. He persuades her *giggles* to give him a chance to see if they can work together as a couple and business partners to see if the can fix the hotel.

The couple have some issues like her insecurity about his cheating past, the favorite his ex wants from Ty, Her ex wanting to get her back and wanting to get in on the hotel deal that is being shopping around for investors. There were times I did want to smack Monica because she was a bit wishy washy at time toward Ty. Her hot and cold made me a little annoyed at times but I did love how he called her out on her behavior.

I loved the side story of Delaney (Ty’s ex) and her favor. I am excited to see book 3 and who Zac will get involved with her needs and wants.
