WOW!! And Hawt! The chemistry was insane and THICK….wowzsers be ready for this one!
I haven’t read the other series by this author because being a blogger I am just busy. All of my friends raved about it so when I was given the chance to read it, I jumped.
Jake is a yummy, hawt broken soul (that we love to read about don’t we ladies??). He is really lost in a state because he has these night mares and we don’t really know the why for them. He leaves his SAS and needs to stay busy so he gets the bodyguard job to keep his mind busy. This way he can’t think about or focus on his past.
Camille is the kiddo of a rich but not so good business man. She has grown up with wealth and doesn’t really know any other way. When her dad makes a deal that threatens his little girl, he hires the best body guard his money can buy. Now Jake sees Camille and is not at all in love with this rich princess however Camille was a hot and bothered mess around Jake. I closed my eyes, hoping for some sleep, anything to stop the images flooding my mind. I could still smell her, and me, on my skin. I felt sick to my stomach. I needed a drink; I needed to eat to quell the nausea. The first thing I did when the train arrived in Victoria Station was to buy a disgusting bagel from a fast-food burger outlet. I drank down a full fat Coke, something I never drank normally, without taking a breath. My hands shook as I guzzled down the food. I must have looked like a drug addict coming down from a high. It hit me like a kick to the stomach and I doubled over. That was exactly what was happening.

AHHH  SO when the last book ended Moira was mated to the top shifter in the community, Blaze, and his mate of 500 years, Dante, who is a force to be reckoned with himself.  This book is about Moira trying to figure out where to fits into the guys life.  Sure she is their mate but what else is she?  What else do they expect of her?  She is a small town country girl living in a big city mansion.

The whole book is Moire kinda falling inside of her head and worrying that maybe the guys made a mistake.  The guys are so lost.  Their confident, sassy shewolf is a mess and they don’t know why.

When Moire’s heat cycle hits she has to make a decision : claim my men for what I want and need or wait and cause myself more and more pain and heart ache.

I am so loving this serial series.  I am kinda sad there is only 1 left in the boxed set I purchased.

This book we finally get to see Blaze again.  WE met the president of the gathering in Gideon’s book.  He and his mate Dante have been mated happily for over 500 years but it seems they are destined to be a triad and they haven’t found the 3^rd part to complete them.

Moira is sad and happy.  She is happy so many in her pack have found their mates but because she has taken on the main alpha role to let Killian and his new mate get to know each other, she is left mateless again.

Moira says screw it one the last night and decided to go to the end of the gathering party.  She is is annoyed that yet again she is left dealing with a DB alpha but she can FEEL her mate…..she sees two men but is confused.  Which one is her fated.  After a mix up and even more heart break Moira goes back to her room to sulk.  Little does she know tomorrow’s meeting will change her life!!

The trio are a hot read but we feel for Blaze and his worries and concerns.  I am looking forward to the last book which is actually more of these characters.
