Hello! I’m Tenise, I live in Illinois with my wife and our 3 fur babies. I manage the kitchen at a local Jr. High School 9 months out of the year. In my free time I enjoy reading and doing crafts.

How long have you been blogging?

Ugh! My memory is terrible! 4 years? Maybe 5. Lol

What are your favorite Genres?

M/M is my jam! Dark Romance and psychological thrillers are a couple of my other favorites.

Who are some of your favorite authors?

A.d. Ellis, J.M. Walker, Vinni George, NR Walker, Pepper Winters, and (thanks to Twinsie Jo) I’ve added Tiffany D Jackson to the list. Jo always recommends the best books.

Do you prefer to read standalones or series?
Novellas or long books?

I feel like my answer to this one shifts at times, but currently standalones. Unless it’s a series of interconnected standalones then I’m great with it being a series.

On a typical day, how much time do you spend reading?

Lately? Not enough, maybe 30 minutes to an hour.

Do you have a favorite character written? If so, who? And what makes them so special.

Brody from the Door series by Vinni George is my current favorite! I’ve read 30 books so far this year and of everyone I’ve “met” Brody is by far my favorite. From the moment he was introduced in book 1, I just hoped he would get a story. Vinni saved the best for last in my opinion… He’s a lovable guy who gives the best nicknames. I just fell in love with from jump. What touched my heart the most about him is his compassion and love for his friends/found family. He’s just perfect.

Hello I’m Melinda and I am married to a wonderful guy that puts up with my book addiction. I have a teenage daughter who is usually floating around the event seeing if the authors need anything. We also have two dogs a one year old golden doodle and a 10 year old Chihuahua.

How long have you been blogging?

I started blogging in 2014 when Angie convinced me to join Twinsie Talk.

What are your favorite Genres?

I have a few favorites MC right now is my go to but I also enjoy Paranormal, Military, and Reverse Harems.

Who are some of your favorite authors?

There are so many how could I narrow it down. Most of my favorites are WOTR authors and have been for many years.

Do you prefer to read standalones or series?
Novellas or long books?

Depends on my mood that day. I like series because you get to know the characters in depth and their families. I do like a good standalone once in a while. The novellas are great when you just have a couple hours to read that day.

On a typical day, how much time do you spend reading?

I tend to read on my lunch hour and then in the evenings while waiting on my daughter to get out of practice (she keeps me on the run). It it’s an audio I can listen to those anytime.

Do you have a favorite character written? If so, who? And what makes them so special.

Lucas from Broken Scars by JM Walker. He was years in the making and I loved him from the moment I saw him in a previous book in another book of JM’s. I knew he was mine from jump. He is the quiet computer guy but also a badass. There was just something about him from the beginning and I had to know more about him, his past and just needed to know who he was.

I am Angie Johnson.  I own TwinsieTalk Book Reviews. I am a “retired” Pre-K Special Education teacher.  I work as a Parent Educator in my full time job.  I have lots of crazy dogs, a kid in college, and an amazing trophy husband who lets me boss him around event weekend.  Also, I love the color pink.

How long have you been blogging?

I started blogging October 14, 2012 when Twinsietalk was created.

MC, Paranormal, comedy, and occasionally I need a very dark book for my soul

Shut up!  Who put this question on the form? Oh wait I did.  I am going to cheat and say every author who had signed at #WOTR or donated to help make any #WOTR a success!

  Man, this is a tough one.  I love the in and out of a novella but a good series is a delicious thing.

On a typical day, how much time do you spend reading?

I listen to audio books for a minimum of 90 minutes a day when I get ready in the morning and when I drive.  If I am driving a lot that day I can get up to 4 hours of listening in.

Do you have a favorite character written? If so, who? And what makes them so special.

This is a tough one.  I am going to say my hardcore love is Bryan “Baldy” Alan from Steel MC Montana Charter.  I fell super hard for him in book one of the series.  Michel Prince and co-writer Wren McCabe made me wait until book 4…ruuuuuuuude I tell ya.  I will absolutely fight someone for him.  I have a lot of characters I love or feel a way about but he just captured my heart from jump.

Hi, I’m Bree. I work in the accounting department by day and graphics department by night! I love to read, watch tv/movies, and do anything outdoors. Horror themed everything is my true passion! I live in the flat center of Indiana, but enjoy taking trips and exploring outside of here as much as I can.

What are your favorite Genres?

My favorite genres are contemporary (especially single parent and age gap), LGBTQ, and paranormal (mostly shifters).

I prefer to read long book series. There is nothing better than getting to know the characters and build that attachment to them as the story goes on. My favorite is when a series continues with the side characters stories. You really get a true feel for the characters, side characters, and even the towns.

On a typical day, how much time do you spend reading?

Usually, I will spend a few hours a day reading. Once I am off the clock at work (and even on my lunch breaks!), I like to sit down and snuggle up with my blanket and book. Time seems to get lost as soon as the story begins/continues.
