#MCRomance #PartOfASeries #ThrowbackFavorite —Greyson (Hell’s Harlem book 1) by: J.M. Walker

Confusion. Lust. Fear. Passion.

It started the moment she passed out in my arms.

Seduction. Vile. Depraved. Desire.

She couldn’t remember her past but looked to me like I was her future.

My walls were built. My heart was cold. My emotions vacant.

After being alone for five years with only my motorcycle club at my side, she was who I had been searching for. The one I had needed all along to light up the darkness surrounding my life. Just when I thought I had her, just when I thought I could finally allow myself that happiness I didn’t think I deserved. She was ripped from my hands…

Could you imagine waking up and having no memory of who you are or where you came from? Or, wondering why the only person you feel comfortable around, is someone you have never met?
This book had me guessing from the beginning and had me reading faster just to see if it was going to end like I wanted it to.
Greyson is- by far- one of my favorite MC books! The Hero is sexy as sin, a bad boy with a little bit of a soft side. The heroine is a little spitfire! Not afraid in the least to tell it like it is. I even loved some of the supporting characters, the fellow members of the Hell’s Harlem Motorcycle Club. I really hope some of them get books, too, because I need MORE!

#AllTheFeels #TwinsieTeniseTopFav —For All the Evers by Debra Anastasia

Fallen Billow should be in college like most of her friends, but instead she’s raising her brother and working as a housekeeper at a vintage local hotel. It’s back-breaking work, but not nearly as challenging as fending off unwanted advances from the hotel’s owner. Thomas McHugh is fighting for our country, across the globe and decades before Fallen Billow was even born. So there’s no way they’re soul mates. There’s no way he can be desperate to see her, hold her, kiss her. Except there is. Is it a dream when he inks his name on her skin? Is it a delusion when she puts her hands on his face and says she loves him? Nothing has ever felt more real.

Fate has etched paths for Thomas and Fallen that even time cannot touch. A Purple Heart proclaims Thomas’ valor and bravery. And his death. But Fallen dares to dream of the impossible. She wants Thomas to stay. Just stay. A tribute to all who have served our country, this novel honors the impossible beauty of love and the endless power of hope. Come open your heart and celebrate the many facets of bravery with Fallen and Thomas.

I’m still reeling from this one. For all the Evers is an absolutely beautiful story. It has everything I love in a good romance book; a loveable Hero, a non annoying- completely independent heroine, and a downright horrible villain. I never wanted it to end. It was one of those rare books where I wish I could give more than a 5 star rating. I laughed, I cried, and I still have chills from the end- great job Debra Anastasia!

Review by Twinsie Tenise

Broken Souls pulled me in from the first chapter. I don’t recall ever reading a book quite like it and I’m sure I will never forget it. The writing was flawless and had me itching to see how the story would end. Well it didn’t end quite like I thought it would but I will say this- the author has a twisted mind and I love it!!! I’m looking forward to reading more from her in the near future.

A Midwesterner and a readaholic most of her life. One day an idea came into her head and a writing career was born. She’s a sucker for happily ever afters and loves creating fictional worlds that others can get lost in. She loves putting her characters through the ringer, but loves when they get to that satisfying, swoony ending.

When the voices in her head give it a rest, which isn’t often, she can always be found with her e-reader in her hand. Some of her favorites include, Aurora Rose Reynolds, (the queen) Kristen Ashley, Kaylee Ryan, Natasha Madison, and Harper Sloan. Evan finds a lot of her inspiration in music, movies, TV shows and life.

Take Me Home is a male/male age-gap, opposites-attract romance with plenty of steam and a scene that will make you appreciate camouflage and work boots.

Review by Twinsie Tenise

Marcus Kingley works for the family business. He’s content with his life that consists of lots of work and the occasional hookup with random men, for a night of no-strings-attached, meaningless sex.
He begins to question if he’s really been living when the family dr tells him he needs to take some time off. His health is suffering due to his rigorous work schedule. Marcus is told by his grandfather he must take some time off. He’s not exactly happy about this but he has no other choice.

Jordan Moore is a carpenter and farmer in a small town. He loves his small town life and would never dream of living anywhere else. He is resigned to being alone because his business that pays the bills and puts food on the table is way more important than everyone in town knowing his business!

When the men’s lives become intertwined, neither of them are prepared for what happens next.

A.d Ellis has once again wrote an absolutely amazing MM romance. Every couple she writes, I love, and Macus & Jordan were no different. I honestly cannot pick a favorite of these 2. They each had their own little quirks that made me fall in love with them and their story.

About A.D. Ellis

Escape into addictive, sexy, emotional romance.
A.D. Ellis is an Indiana girl, born and raised. She spends much of her time in central Indiana as an instructional coach/teacher in the inner city of Indianapolis, being a mom to two amazing school-aged children, and wondering how she and her husband of nearly two decades haven’t driven each other insane yet. A lot of her time is also devoted to phone call avoidance and her hatred of cooking.
She loves chocolate, wine, pizza, and naps along with reading and writing romance. These loves don’t leave much time for housework, much to the chagrin of her husband. Who would pick cleaning the house over a nap or a good book? She uses any extra time to increase her fluency in sarcasm.
A.D. uses she/they pronouns.

Review by Twinsie Angie

I purchased the 3book/audio whisper snyc off Amazon.

Murph and Madison.  These two have been on my radar since book 1.  This friends with benefits routine they have put on was for their blinders but scared to admit it.  Too afraid to rock the safe oat of friends them open the possibility of the love they they could have.

Murph/Richard has been in the hockey industry for a few years and is looking at his future.  He is wondering if he should hang up his skates and look at doing something else.  Madison is an awesome agent who met this young stud 8 years ago when she started the new job and has moved up in the ranks.  The two spend more time together then apart.  But they are so scared to move forward.  They know each other inside and out yet are afraid to be without the other if they are rejected.

When Becca and Kinsley push Madison in to blind date with a doctor, Murph/Richard knows its now or never.  He realizes he needs to claim his girl of lose her to someone else.  The couple transforming from friends to more was a great read.  The relationship and love were easily felt through the story.  Th narrators did an amazing job changing voices and becoming the characters of the stories.  They pulled me in and kept me draw in the entire time.

Once the couple move into a new phase Madison is rocked with news and leans on Richard/Murph more than ever.  I loved the direction of the story and can’t wait for the next book.

Review by Twinsie Tenise

This was my first ‘best friends dad’ book. I was nervous going in, because, well it was new territory for me. Let me just say, I’m glad I gave this troupe a chance.

Cameron, with his smart mouth and need to please. Luke with his dominant nature.(Ummm, yes, please!) These 2 were kind of perfect for each other. Well, except for the pesky age gap and the fact that Cameron is Luke’s sons best friend. Ehh semantics.

I found myself rooting for these 2. Defending them in my head against anyone who questioned their “relationship”.
Reckless was a very good book with interesting plot twists. I’m looking forward to getting to know the next brother in Heartless, book 2 in the series.

#partofaseries #suspense —Flock(Ravenhood Book 1) by: Kate Stewart

Can you keep a secret?

I grew up sick.⁣

Let me clarify.⁣

I grew up believing that real love stories include a martyr or demand great sacrifice to be worthy.⁣

Because of that, I believed it, because I made myself believe it, and I bred the most masochistic of romantic hearts, which resulted in my illness.⁣

When I lived this story, my own twisted fairy tale, it was unbeknownst to me at the time because I was young and naïve. I gave into temptation and fed the beating beast, which grew thirstier with every slash, every strike, every blow.⁣

Triple Falls wasn’t at all what it seemed, nor were the men that swept me under their wing. But in order to keep them, I had to be in on their secrets.⁣

Secrets that cost us everything to keep.⁣

That’s the novelty of fiction versus reality. You can’t re-live your own love story, because by the time you’ve realized you’re living it, it’s over. At least that was the case for me and the men I trusted my foolish heart to.⁣

Looking back, I’m convinced I willed my story into existence due to my illness.⁣

And all were punished.

This trilogy is a gritty, modern day take on Robin Hood. It’s an unconventional love story—bad boys/antiheroes—filled with suspense, steam, major twists, a little action, and ALL OF THE FEELS.

Review by Twinsie Tenise

The Flock is the first book of 2021 that I would give more than 5 stars if I could. And it left me struggling to write a review worthy of the epic story I just read.

This book came highly recommend from a friend. I went in blind and couldn’t put it down. It consumed an entire Saturday,  I was determined to finish the book. Nothing was more important than the answers to all of the questions bouncing around in my head.

The ending left me with more questions than answers but I know that I will always remember this story. The plot is original and the characters were unforgettable. I had ALL THE FEELS while reading and cannot wait to dive into book 2, where I hopefully find the answers I seek.

#allthefeels #havethetissueshandy #onceinalifetimelove —If I’d Known by: Paige P Horne

Time is a thief they say, and if you’re not careful it’ll slip right past you, taking everything you hold dear in this world with it.

It was the summer of 1972 when I first laid eyes on him.

Cynthia Rose probably got more than she bargained for when she came to my door step asking to write about my story.

Our story.

To everyone else Travis Cole was just the bad boy, but to me he was the keeper of my heart and even as time aged us and miles kept us apart, my heart stayed his.

Forever his.

If I’d Known is a phenomenal story based on a love that you only hear about in fairy tales. It’s the kind of love that’s not only unconditional, but unbreakable. Prepare to be swept off your feet as you immerse yourself into the story of Charlotte and Travis, while also going on a journey with three women as they form an unlikely friendship, discovering that without darkness there would be no light.
The friendship in this story is fiction, but the love it holds is as real as you and I.

“Time is a thief they say, and if you’re not careful it’ll slip right past you, taking everything you hold dear in this world with it.”

With puffy eyes and an aching heart, I am kind of at a loss for words right now. Knowing this book is based on a true story has made it even harder to process.

Without giving too much of the book away, I will say this- Travis and Charlotte had an epic love- a love most people can only dream about. I feel honored to have been able to read their story. Thank you so much for sharing it with everyone.

This book was beautifully written. I love how the author made it flow so seamlessly from past to present. If I’d Known has definitely made my top 10 books of all time list!

*Recommended 17+ due to mature language and situations.

Review by Twinsie Melinda

I received a copy of the audio book from the author for an honest review.

This is the final book in this trilogy. What a wonderful journey it has been to watch these five go from high school to college and now forward. Allie Martina and Chris Patton did a great job with the narration and kept me engaged throughout the entire book. I was able to follow then easily going between characters.

This book we get to see Kendal, Teagan, Goose, Mav, and Lucas relationship grow. The wedding and honeymoon was fabulous all I can say is OH MY maple syrup. I love how they make sure they have alone time and time together. They have bumps in the road and not easy ones but the bond they all have gets them through it.

I enjoyed each book in this series. I am sad to see it end but maybe we will see more of this family in the future.

Brandy Slaven lives in Tennessee with her husband and two wild children. If you can’t find her typing away at her laptop, you will find her with her nose in a book at the beach or hiking at a state park.

Review by Twinsie Angie

I was given this book for an honest review by the author.

Who loves the Nicki Sosebee series??  THIS GIRL!!  So if you know the series then this little back story is the icing on the cake for the Nicki/Sean love story.

The whole series is in Nicki’s head so to finally SEE what San thought about our girl from way back when…plus to see the beginning of all the relationships blooming made me so excited.  If you haven’t read the story you wont get as much excitement or love from it as I did SO I suggest you grab book 1 and jump in getting to know the gang!!!

1. Dream 2. Play some music 3. Write 4. Blow readers away 5. Repeat

Jade C. Jamison is a steamy romance author, heavy metal fangirl, wife and mom, coffee connoisseur, cat lover, and vegan foodie–not necessarily in that order. She loves life and believes we learn our wisest lessons when reading, especially fiction. Her heroines are fierce, her heroes all but broken, both seeking redemption together. Whether those books are set in a small Colorado town or big city, she strives to take her readers’ breath away…one story at a time.
