I absolutely love this series every time a new book comes out I am all over it and then want more when it is done. This is all about Rain and there was always something about him that drew me in. After reading this book there is so much more to Rain and makes me love him even more.

Rain had everything a wife and a daughter, but all that was taken from him shattering his heart. He found himself a loner hiding from the council. Now being reunited with his daughter his family keeps getting bigger and bigger. Rain shows he has a big heart even if he tries to hide it. He is 100% devoted to Ariel and making her happy. Even though he doesn’t like all of the boys in Ariel’s coven he will tolerate them because Ariel loves them. Rain will do anything to protect his family even if he puts himself in harms way.

Thanks to Ariel they find Baxter and Isobel, two awesome new characters. With having these two around we get to see a bit more of Rain’s heart opening. However, it does open up a conversation between Ariel and Quinton or should I say argument. I love how all these men will drop what ever to come to Ariel’s side to help her with what ever she needs. Their devotion and loyalty is by far superior to anything I have ever seen.

I have to say I really need more Rain, more Isobel, more Bax, well just more of everyone. I am so thrilled to hear that Dash is next and cannot wait to hear more about him and what is going on with the council and the witches.

This is the conclusion of Risky Series. Ally’s secret comes out and could ruin Colton. Even though, Colton and Ally comes up with a plan that may or may not work to undo the damage. Colton does not let her off he hook even though she is remorseful. He has a way of punishing her.

I did enjoy the plot of this story and it did borderline dark for me but still liked it. These two had amazing chemistry from the start. The narrator did a good job keeping the characters separated and keeping me engaged in the story.

I’m going to start by saying I love the VC Women. They are Kickass and full of sass. Tessa Pride Kincaid has been through hell and back. She is strong but she will need to stay strong because things are going to throw her off left and right. Jared is being an ass and she needs someone to support her and love her. She has had too many others in her life tear her down and make her someone she is not Tessa is done having others try to conform her and if walking away is what she has to do to find herself that is what she will do.

I am so pissed at our ‘ole boy Jared he is keeping secrets and not just from Tessa but his brothers.  Sometimes it is a good thing when your past comes back to bite you in the ass or in Jared’s case to help him pull his head out of his and kick it too.

We are introduced to some new Characters in this book and man sure didn’t see those connections and twists coming. Things are going to get nasty here soon so glad the VC Warriors have such strong mates that can hold their own and have the Warriors backs. Tessa amazes me no matter how many times she is kicked down she gets back up even stronger. This woman has endured more that what some men could come back from. I love the mates series just as much as Warriors series and cannot wait to read about the rest of these amazing women.

This starts right were Risky Gamble left us. Colton is trying to contact Allison after she ran out of the club. He is leaving thoughtful gifts., messages even sets up  a date for them but nothing from her. Allison is over it and tries moving on but when she is drunk one night Colton breaks in and takes what is his.

The chemistry between these tow is still explosive. Colton has to prove to Allison they are made for each other. Once again this is a cliffy and I cannot wait to read Risky Love.

The narrator did a good job on this book as well as Risky Gamble. I am not a fan of one narrator for both male and female POV but he did a great job with the different voices and keeping in in the story.

This story starts with tossing you right into the story and then things are explained as it goes on. Let me tell you there were so may NO Way and Oh that makes since now moments in this book. It was kind of nice being left in the dark and not knowing until it was time.

Mercy had to do a lot of manipulating to get were she was today. Now there is someone in town that is slowly taking everything she has away from her. She is learning what it is like to be manipulated. There is a new guy in town and he shows no mercy just takes what he wants. He is on a mission to get revenge on all those who have wronged him in the past and that means Mercy too. Mercy has not idea who the Count really is but he knows more about Mercy than she could ever guess.

This is a great plot and there were twists I never saw coming. I have to say the instant connection Mercy and Will have is scorching.

Aly may just get her big shot when Colton walks into the flower shop she works at. The chemistry is explosive between these two from the moment Colton came into the flower shop. When Aly finds out who Colton is, she wants to know more about him and his company. Colton finds himself infatuated with Aly and has to get to know her. This is a short read (about 3 hours on audio) and I don’t want to give much away. Colton has to have her but it maybe the end of his reputation.

The narration was well done. He went from each characters POV without pulling me from the story. This is a cliff hanger where both Colton and Aly are taking a gamble. All I need to know is will he get the girl or will the girl ruin his reputation to jump start her career and if he does get the girl how will she handle his dark side. I’m about to find out downloading Risky Pleasures next.
