This is a quick little read but packed full of hotness, secrets and some laughter.

Kiki is a graphic designer who designs book covers for authors. she has a great career and a wonder family. However, because of her small family she is guarded, protective, and not willing to put her heart out there again. really she has the greatest friend a girl could want. Chaz is her BFF and he only wants the best for Kiki. He had me cracking up in this story. OMG “wet bread” What Really Chaz (i cannot even if you want to know you will have to read it).

B.Vesper is looking to cover his books and he is going to picky. He contacts Kiki to take on this project. B puts Kiki in contact with his cover model/PA Bo. Bo and Kiki end up covering more than just book covers and Bo slowly starts to bring Kiki’s walls down. I loved these people not just Bo and Kiki but also Chaz and the twins. They know how to have fun and support one another as BFF’s should. I enjoyed Bo and the BDSM aspect in this story. Seeing Kiki respond and submit to Bo was entertaining. I liked Bo and Kiki and would have enjoyed reading more of them and of course Chaz too.

Talk about a powerhouse team that is Ryan and Chelsea. I was blown away with this one. The plot twists were some of the best I have seen in a while.  I never saw any of them coming and just WOW great job ladies.

What is a girl to do when day goes from bad to the unthinkable?  Torryn thought losing her job was the worst thing that was going to happen to her that day until she barges into her sister’s home and finds things just got a whole lot worse. Torryn learns real fast what happens when you dismiss Onyx Blake.

Onyx is the boss who has three others at his side. They are fierce and unforgiving. They may push each other but together they are a chain that no one can break. Onyx stakes his claim to Torryn after her mistake of dismissing him. Torryn is not one to back down and will stand her ground. Only down side is that Onyx is boss and what he says goes no matter what. The push and pull between Onyx and Torryn is something else. The heat between these two is like an inferno. I also enjoyed Dane, Pax and Garrett and cannot wait to hear their stories.  I usually am drawn to the quiet brooding guys but Pax tugs at my heart. Then ending Oh Baby I cannot wait for the next one. This book was dive in and never look up I mean really who needs food and potty breaks.

Love how Charlie stood her ground with Koda. The tension between Koda and Charlie was unbelievable. Could Mason and Koda make a scene any hotter? I cannot wait to read who is next. I am so ready for the next one already.

I purchased this book.

I have loved all the novellas I have read from this author so when I saw an anthology she was in and it was PNR, I was sold!!

This was a quick super hot BDSM Story about a human, Violet, who has been adopted by an alien family.  Their biological daughter Valria is to marry Prince Zor, a warrior from another planet.  Once the wedding begins, the prince makes it known he prefers the HUMAN Daughter and so Violets is thrown in to this arranged marriage for her planets safety.

The story is super hawt and super sexy.  It’s a quick read but it will give you a great story line about the couple.  We earn all about his “expectations” for his wife.  We also see the couple developing feelings but things seem to get into the way of course.  Its not a romance novel without the drama right??!!  But seriously I would love to read more about this couple and what they deal with.  Zor is super alpha but amazingly sweet as well.

Maria Monroe writes sexy and smart romance, often focusing on new adult characters. Bad boys, especially gruff and sexy ones, are her favorite alpha males to read (and write) about.

This is an audio review.

I enjoyed listening this audio. The voices and ascent of the narrator made it hard to pause the audio.

Jacque Pierce along with her best friends Jen and Sally were about to start their senior year of High School. Little did she know her world was going to tip with the arrival with the new exchange student who was moving in next door.  She thinks things are strange when she starts to hear a voice in her head although she doesn’t know it isn’t just a voice it is her mate. Only one catch she has no idea about werewolves let alone she is a mate to one.

Fane is thinking he is the only wolf in the small town in Colorado but quickly learns he is not.  Although he knows Jacque is his mate he wants to claim her and keep the Alpha from trying to do the same. Fane has to fight to the Alpha and wow the suspense I was crying right along with Jacque.

I fell in love with Jacque, Jen, and Sally their little “traditions”, inside jokes and games. Their friendship bond is so strong it is the kind of friendship every girl should have. Their chemistry and humor had me laughing out loud. Jen had me rolling almost every time she opened her mouth. I loved Jacque and Jen’s snarkiness not only between them but with Fane and anyone else.  Fane, oh my what can I say about him he is a great Alpha and should be by all rights.  I am so intrigued by this series I will defiantly be downloading Blood Rights. I sure hope it is the same narrator.  I need to know the rest of Jacque and Fane’s story and really cannot wait to get to Jen’s story either.

Don’t Be Afraid by CA Harms

I receive this book from the author for an honest review.

I don’t know if I will be able to get through this review without stopping to blow my nose or wipe the streams of flowing tears from my eyes.  Sweet Baby Jesus I am completely destroyed in the most beautiful of ways.

This book is such a simple idea but CA writes it with such depth of emotion if you don’t cry you must be a heartless person!  LOL  The story is all about love.  Pure and simple love.  The love of a man and wife.  The love of 2 brothers willing to do for each other and their family.  The story is about what happens when one person loses the love of their life or the person they consider to be their brother.  How do the remaining two continue on without their missing link plus what happens when feelings begin to develop between the remaining people?

Sawyer has had a sad life and when she meets Pat everything clicks for her.  She seems to have a golden life with the man of her dreams.  When Cancer tears her happily ever after apart she learns to lean on Gage.  Gage and Pat have grown up together and are brothers.  When Pat asks Gage to watch out for his family. Gage does it because his feels Sawyer is his family too.

The story has me sobbing through most of the beginning of the book.  Chapters 14 and 21 had me a hot mess so be warned!!  But as the middle to end of the story is being told we are facing life without our Rock Pat but also looking to Gage for MORE.  The end of the book throws a few amazing scenes that made my dried eyes begin to leak full force again.

The emotion and depth of story totally knocked me for a loop.  I was stunned at how well CA Captured the emotion of each character in the story.  The anger Pat felt.  The sadness Sawyer felt, and the guilt Gage felt.   Such a raw and emotionally gritty story this book is intense so be ready with the tissue.  Be ready to have some Tylenol to help with the raging headache you will have from the snot sobbing tears you will be shedding!!

C.A. Harms is a lover of HEA stories, mixed with a little heat and drama make it perfect. She needs some excitement, some angst, and moments that make her fan her face are always good too. She’s an Illinois girl, born and raised. Simple and true, it honestly doesn’t take much to make her happy. She loves the little things; they truly mean the most. She may have a slight addiction to her Keurig—oh my, that thing is a godsend. And so fast too. She is the mother of two children who truly are her very best friends, and their faces never fail to put a smile on her face.
