#WOTR19 #NewRelease #Review #TeachingCayden #CollegeRomance #CaydenSutter #StandaloneWithinASeries #OneClick #NewAdultRomance- Teaching Cayden , Sutter Family Series book 4 by H. D’Agostino

Cover Design by Pink Ink Designs.

As the youngest member of the Sutter family, Cayden was always known as ‘the smart one’. Meeting women and playing football might have been his family’s thing, but not his. He was on track to graduate and pursue a degree in physics until he met his nemesis, math.

Addison Porter is a math genius and studies in the same spot of the library every day, that is until one day when her seat is taken. Never being one to back down, she orders the squatter to move. When he offers to share the spot instead, she reluctantly agrees. After noticing her extensive text book collection in mathematics, Cayden asks for help.

What started out as a simple request soon turns into so much more as Addison hides her identity. Not knowing anything about the woman, Cayden goes on a mission to find her, one that lasts for over a year.

What happens when he finds her? Does she have a reason to remain anonymous? Has Cayden finally met the one who will change his plan for the future?

Teaching Cayden is the fourth book in The Sutter Family Series. Join Nick, Cam, and the rest of the gang as we go back to Wilmington one final time.

Goodreads

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Oh Cayden!!!  You were always the quiet one so finally getting to know you was awesome!!  I love the Sutter Family so another kiddo to read about was A-OK with me.

Addison….hrmmmm…you’re a tough nut to crack.  I gotta admit I wasn’t sure you were worthy of my sweet, non-man whoring Sutter but I was so happy to see you prove me wrong as the story proceeds.

Cayden starts college and meets a hot, smart women in the library. She becomes like a dream girl and he searches for her wile he is in college.  When he finally finds her, she is his TA and she is just as stunned stupid over seeing this guy again but ugh she has to be hands off.

The couple try to stay away but when you feel that vibe you just can’t ignore it.  Between her job and her brother, who happens to be one of Caden’s frat brothers, it seems they had some found a groove until Addy’s hot and cold started to make my head spin.  I mean what the heck…baggage city!

As the couple finds there way they have to hide their relationship and secrets always end up causing big trouble when they are found out….!!!!

The epilogue…..shut up!!  If you love BOTH Sutter Series, you will love love love the ending of this book.  We get to see everyone and catch up with everyone.  It made my heart so happy!!

#WOTR19 #AuthorSpotlights – Brittany Holland

Brittany Holland

Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.

Nice to meet you! I’m Brittany Holland – a contemporary romance author and self proclaimed book binger. My love of reading and an active imagination inspired me to pursue my dream of writing.

When I’m not creating worlds on the page I enjoy taking the scenic route traveling, capture life’s moments with photography and catching up on my favorite shows via Netflix or Amazon. I’m a Game of Thrones fan which led to my love (nice way of saying obsession) of Jon Snow aka Kit Harrington and Jason Momoa!!!

In other news, I’m addicted to Starbucks coffee, Spotify music, Buzzfeed quizzes and Haribo gummy bears… in that order. I’m an open book, if there is anything you want to know, ask away!

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

I love writing in my chair. My writing snacks always include Haribo gummy bears, dark chocolate. I rotate between Starbucks coffee and fountain Mt. Dew. And sometimes I get the odd craving for flaming hot cheetos!

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

I love meeting new readers, other authors and seeing familiar faces… it’s incredible to connect with people in person, face to face and on a level that you can’t reach via social media. I’m a hugger *guilty* LOL! I’m pretty extroverted so I love the opportunity to talk and interact. It’s amazing to meet people you know online but have yet to see in the flesh! I also love to check out new books, to hold something tangible in my hands, and signings are a great way to find new treasures to add to my bookshelf! Finally, seeing new places is always great!

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

Hmmm. This is a tough one, because there are so many incredible writers that I look up to. I’ve been so lucky to have met a lot of the women who inspire me. One person I’d really love to meet one day is Jodi Ellen Malpas, writer of the This Man series. Also, Colleen Hoover, EL James and Tarryn Fisher.

What author would you love to write with?

Laurelin Paige because she is brilliant and I love how her mind works, she is a word ninja! Rachel Van Dyken because she makes you feel ALL the things even when you don’t want to!

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

Just starting out, I went to an RWA convention and I met Nora Roberts (who I had idolized and read every book I could get my hands on since junior high) and Sylvia Day (whom I am a huge fan of). It was very surreal to be attending the same conference and an honor to meet them. The other has been having readers/fans that come up to me at signings and discuss my books. It’s a wonderful feeling connecting with someone who has not only read your words, but enjoyed them and wants to talk about the characters and the story. It’s something I’ll never tire of!

#WOTR19 #NewRelease #MM #MC #PartOfASeries #SpinOff – Pretty Complicated (Mercy Motorcycle Club Book 2) by Mary Martel

Pretty Complicated (Mercy Motorcycle Club Book 2)

Way over his duties as a recruit for the Mercy Motorcycle Club, Stephan takes advantage of the fact they are gone on a run and decides to go off and find something meaningful to do for the night that doesn’t revolve around the Club.
It’s too bad for him that the night happens to be Halloween night.
And, all the crazies come out to play on Halloween. That’s just the way of the world.
On his way out of town and away from his Club, he spots a place filled with everything people would want for Halloween. They’ve got a scary maze in a cornfield, a haunted barn and a cemetery filled with promises of darkness.
He thought to drive right past it, but after spotting several motorcycles belonging to members of his Club, one in particular that he had feelings for, he decided to stop and check things out. In doing so he changed the entire course of his life and witnessed things he could never take back.
It was Halloween. And, as much as he’d always hated it, this year would make him love it and he’d never forget what too place that night.

Goodreads

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Oh Hash!!! *Wipes the tear away* Oh Steph!! *Wipes the drool away*

I was so excited when Mary said we would get a look at the start of one of my FAV Mercy MC Couples who ….ugly snot cry starting….are no more. If you have not read the Dollhouse series, then I can’t tell you why they aren’t together but if you have then feel free to cry not so silently with me
.
If you haven’t read this series, this is a quick intro of the Mercy MC guys. You get to meet the biggest dick EVER AKA Batey and one of the scariest but is he really scary guys AKA King. But mainly we get to see our 2 prospects finally facing their feelings for each other.

I loved this quick snippet into their beginning but honestly WANT MORE as any true crazy fan would beg for!!

Mary Martel was born in West Michigan and spent the majority of her life there. She currently resides in North Dakota with her husband, and her two beautiful daughters. She’s an avid reader, and when not writing she can be found with her nose stuck in a book.

#WOTR19 #ReleaseDay #Paranormal – Hades (Guardians # 5) by Valerie Twombly

Hades (Guardians Book 5)

Being the lord of dark, terrifying things makes Hades the most feared god in existence. He’s also the most bored. When the guardians request his assistance, he is quick to grant it and make his way to the human realm. After all, creating havoc is what he does best. When his path crosses with a beautiful female, he finds her honesty refreshing, making his desire burn hotter. It’s when she summons him for a favor that he will finally get to name his terms.

When tall, dark and oh-so-sexy walks into her store, Mia suddenly finds herself marked by a god. Saddled with a curse that rips her world apart on a nightly basis, she decides bargaining with Hades to remove it might prove beneficial. Of course, requesting a favor from the lord of the Underworld comes with a huge price. Namely thirty days in Hell as his guest.

Hades is only out for some fun, but Mia isn’t playing his games. She intends to get through her agreement despite the yearning she feels for him. Problem is, the longer they are together the more she begins to see beyond the lord of evil to the troubled man beneath. Now she must decide if he is worthy of the only thing she has left to give.

Goodreads

I received this book from an honest review.

**Clapping** Oh man!!  Hades!!  I was super psyched to get this book.  I love his cool, casual, arrogant self.  I love how he is a bad guy but he isn’t really a bad guy….I mean Anti-Hero all the way right??!!  He is the Lord of the Underworld after all so he does do SOME bad things.

Mia is a typical human just trying to survive these dark days on Earth.  She is trying to help humans and trying to just live while praying the Guardians can end the war with Lowan.  When she meets Hades, he thinks she is just fun time head never knowing what his brother Zarek has planned for him.

I totally loved this storyline.  I enjoyed what Hades does to move the story of the missing Phoenix along while also realizing he wants more than JUST the Underworld.  His desire for Mia makes him want to be better but also fear, much like our other heroes, he is not worthy of her purity and light.

I seriously don’t know what book I want next???  I think as of right now I am praying it is Aiyden’s book because after what happened to him, he needs to claim his mate plus claim his fated title.

Award winning and bestselling author Valerie Twombly grew up watching Dark Shadows over her mother’s shoulder, and from there her love of the fanged creatures blossomed. Today, Valerie has decided to take her darker, sensual side and put it to paper.

When she is not busy creating a world full of steamy, hot men and strong, seductive women, she juggles her time between a full-time job, hubby and her two German Shepherd dogs, in Northern IL.

Valerie is a member of Romance Writers of America and Fantasy, Futuristic and Paranormal Romance Writers. She is also the founder of Sexy Scribblers, a group of romance writers who bring readers new and fresh stories every month.

Booklist

Sidney Larson always thought dark-haired, blue-eyed Brett Carmichael was sinfully sexy, to say nothing of the muscular mechanic’s talent with his hands. But Sidney so didn’t have time for Brett’s overbearing tendencies when they were together so she broke things off. Now a chance encounter brings Brett back into her life, and Sidney can’t help but notice intriguing changes in her ex. So what’s stopping her from revisiting their scorching-hot chemistry?

Since Sidney dumped him, Brett’s made major life adjustments, thanks to therapy and a long, hard look at himself. Sure, he’s still intense but he knows how to focus his energy on his career, not on trying to control a fantastic woman like Sidney. Brett finds the sweet, generous brunette more seductive than ever, but now that he’s finally worthy of her, will she be willing to give him a second chance?

Goodreads

Amazon

I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review.

Oh man!!  I was super excited to see over the top and overly controlling Brett get a novella.

He made things between Valerie and Logan super difficult so I liked seeing him crawl a little bit until…well dang it…..until I saw how sad he was without Sidney.

This novella is a quick but hilarious read between Brett and Sid.  These two are so in love but Brett’s issues got in the way of their relationship.  A new and improved Brett has crossed paths with Sidney, and he is all about showing her the new man he is.

I loved seeing him try to deal with seeing her dating and the guy she is dating….lol but I really loved Valerie playing matchmaker between the two knowing they needed a little push to finally admit how they feel.   What I loved most about Sid is her fear of not being attractive enough for the man she loves.  What woman doesn’t have insecurities???  She totally could be me or you.  Which this is a quality I love about Alison’s writing.  She writes real life people and real life issues we all have to deal with.

If you are a fan of the series, you will not be disappointed in the love story between the two.

Alison Bliss is a best-selling, award-winning author of humorous, contemporary romances. A born and raised Texan, she currently resides in the Midwest with her husband, two kids, and their dogs. As the youngest of five girls, she has never turned down a challenge or been called by the right name. Alison believes the best way to find out if someone is your soul mate is by canoeing with them because if you both make it back alive, it’s obviously meant to be. She writes the type of books she loves to read most: fun, steamy love stories with heart, heat, and laughter. Something she likes to call, “Romance…with a sense of humor.”
