I purchased this audio book.
This was my first book by this author. I grabbed it because she was attending a book signing I was going to be attending. New author to me is exciting right???!!!
The book is about Rose who lives in a super natural town but she is unaware since she s just a human. She works for 3 hottie brothers…er..vampires and lusts over then nightly. She knows they aren’t interested in her that way or are they?
Sebastian, Dean, and Finn have lusted over the curvy and sassy bartender since they met her. Their pull to her is getting strong by the day but they know they can’t have her. It would be unfair to her to either change her or watch her die while they stayed young and vibrant. The men all of a sudden see another vampire taking interest and their world turns upside down.
When Jason, an attractive man, chats up Rose and then kidnaps Rose everything she knew about the world is suddenly changed. She soon learns of her new life and all about her bosses. Rose is going to do everything to get back to the brothers and hope they will accept the new version of her.
I liked the story but I admit the narration was not my favorite so at times I would turn the story off. The inflections fell flat at times. A narrator’s voice can really make or break a story. There were times I felt like she was reading an essay because there just wasn’t any emotion in the “book”.
I did like the story but wonder if my enjoyment would have been hirer with reading vs the audio book to be honest.

Jewels Arthur has lived in Central Illinois her entire life, she is a small town girl at heart and is terrified of city life. She grew up on a farm with 27 barn cats, video games, movies, and books to keep her company. She is obsessed with romance and swoon. Especially the paranormal type — humans are truly overrated.

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

Oh yes. This book I was ready for and excited for!!  Lucien and Elaina!!  Whoop Whoop!!  I will say this book is listed as a stand alone but in my opinion, you need to read the whole series to fully love and appreciate this book.  But you can read it alone but trust me you will be mad and wanna kick your butt because this series is awesomeness!!  Just read the whole series, OK? OK!

Lucien…I have loved him so I was happy to finally get his story.  He has some dark secrets and then to find out his mate…ya know the love of his life is HER…and she is one of THOSE…ugh struggle bus time.  But dude is all about claiming his woman!!

Elaine is dying because how can the fates match her with him.  I mean he is hawt and the chemistry is awesome but ugggghhhhhhhh he is a vampire!!  She is not feeling it, buuuut she wants to feel it *wink*.  Crass yes I am aware. LOL

The couple have a lot to overcome like the fact they should not be matched together given the history of their kinds.  They also have this whole “what happens if” thing hanging over their heads.

I absolutely enjoy this series and many others by this author.  She does a great job bringing you in and leaving you hanging for the next book.  I cant wait for more and the world she brings alive each novel.

As a fan of the paranormal, this definitely was intriguing. This is a fantastical tale of hellhounds and vampires all intricately woven into many twisting paths full of deceit and lies. Don’t worry, there is a love story too. It took me a little bit to get into the story. However, I think this happens a lot with the first book in a series because we are just getting to know characters and the world building is needed. Jessica is a vampire hunter and works for Jay. She wasn’t always a believer of the paranormal but was attacked once and Jay helped her. When she lets one of the men, Gage, who is also a love interest, move into her house, she gets a lot more than she bargained for. Once the secrets are let out she is brought into their world of hellhounds. There is a delicate balance within the hellhound packs and this is one very big part of the web of crazy that this story is. Rayce is another, hawt as a hellhound, man that is the new and current love interest. He is amazing but these two have a lot to overcome if they are going to make it. We find out so much about the insanity within the hellhound packs and the stories go sideways so quick. I never want to give spoilers, and I am trying my hardest not to, but there is so much going on in this book that it is easier for me to just tell you to read it. Naturally, there is always a character that we have beef with, right? I mean, there were times when I wanted to shake Jessica for just being that naive when she is a super strong woman. And there were times that I wanted to shake Jay and Rayce for not doing something to stop the madness that was going on. Overall, I think this was a good read and if you are looking for a new twist on the paranormal, you should give the hellhounds a try.

I was given this book for an honest review by the author.

What a world!!  I love the paranormal worlds Valerie build’s in her stories.  Each series is different and unique with something that I think makes them stand out from others.  This series is no different.

Harper is a mess having dreams about tall dark drink of water plus all of a sudden she is healing people…uhm she is a human so what’s up with this new turn of events??  She had a terrible car accident but now she can heal herself and others….hrmmmm.  While taking a much-needed self-care weekend away to right her anxious mind she stumbles into someone hot as hell AND looks just like Mr. Dream Guy in a field.

Roman is stunned that some human has broken through the veil to his world.  How in the world has this happened and who sent her to his world?  Is she a threat?  Is she going to hurt his king? And DAYUM she is fine!!  Roman is struggling to keep his “beast” at bay.  (Remember when I said I loved how unique her series is…that story line is why….).  When Roman figures out WHO Harper is, he is so confused.  With his friend Storm AKA Harpers long lost cousin, they try to figure it out.

While Roman is struggling with his beast, Harper is struggling with finding out her dead dad isn’t so dead annnnnd he is kinda a dick…like major dick.  Harper is thrust into a new world with enemies, rules, sides, and gifts she needs to understand to fully navigate without losing her life, her mom’s life, or her mate’s life.

Seriously I loved Harper and Roman’s story!!!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I was really looking forward to this book but kinda feel it was just as much Daniel’s book as it was Pam’s book.  This book was Pam dealing with her past that also affected her son Daniel and mate Duncan.  We find out even more about Kenny, what he did we didn’t know about, and who he was in business with we didn’t previously know.  Like dude was so bad!!

We also see Duncan trying too be a badass warrior but also dealing with his son and mate’s need to know and not know what is happening in the world.  We see Daniel coming to terms with what makes him special plus what may be his downfall.  We see Pam struggling as a mom, wife, social service employee and so much more.  She wants her family to be safe and her friends to be ok, but she is also losing control of everything around her.

The book was good as it moved us forward in the world.  We see Duncan and Pam reaffirming their love and commitment to each other, but we also see the struggles that being parents have on them.

I loved getting to know grown up Daniel.  I can’t wait for his real book even though I am sure it’s a ways off since he is not ready for “grown up stuff” yet.

I loved the movement in the story line of Charger and Raven.  I am eagerly awaiting that book in my greedy hands!!

This is going to be a tough review for me to write because I don’t want to give anything away. First things first, I love V and Lane. I have from the beginning and am ecstatic that they finally get their story told. The entire family has grown and I just love that they continue on these stories. Since the blurb makes you think about what the tarot reader foretold from the first book for V’s and Maggie’s future, I can’t give you many details of what happens in this story. What I can tell you is that it is super hawt and steamy. There are quite a few surprises that will keep you on your toes. And about the time I thought the book was coming to an end…the madness was only getting started! I was surprised that the spell V casted even worked, and that it worked so well. And on top of that someone from the past shows up to wreak havoc! This story constantly pulls at your heartstrings. This one for me was a very emotional book. When you read it, you will understand completely. This is a definite must read! Oh, and btw… here is my one and only spoiler, the next book is Ari’s! Can’t wait!

I bought this book and this is my honest opinion

Essie left her old life in the middle of the night and moved to Chicago never looking back. A year later her new job had her forced to go back to find out what was happening to all these female werewolves that kept going missing. So she found herself taking her gay best friend vampyre back to her hometown to kill these bad guys and try not to run into the alpha who also happens to be her ex. Will she be able to get the job done without any trouble or will she find herself in her exs bed before she leaves town again. This book was amazing so funny especially when you put a guy vampyre and an older granny wolf together its bound to be hilarious and it was definitely a great read.

I read this book back in March 2014. Teresa has just released the audios and I am so enjoying going back and listening to them.  I could not believe how much of the minor things I forgotten over the years. I have to say I still love these warriors today as much as I did 5 years ago.

Nicole is a social worker that takes her job seriously. She is determined to keep the kids safe and it doesn’t matter if they are human or vampire.
Damon, one of the Vampire Council Warriors, was sent to train the social workers on how to protect themselves while doing their jobs. The sparks start to fly as soon as Nicole and Damon first see each other. However, Damon does not want to get involved and attached so Nicole comes up with a “friends with benefits” option.

I love that Nicole is tough and stands up to these big tough Vampires, never backing down never giving up and has no issues getting in their faces. Things start to go bad when Nicole and the others realize there are some pretty mean people out to get her because she is doing her job so well. Damon pulls the “I’m getting too close so I’ll push her away” routine and right after she lays her feelings out on the table.

I also enjoyed the close friendship almost sisterly like relationship that Nicole and Pam have. Seeing Nicole, Pam, and Jared interacting was great. Pam and Jared always made me smile or laugh. I would get aggravated with Damon he would be so sweet and nice and then go all Alpha male thinking he was protecting Nicole but only end up hurting her feelings. Here again Nicole always called him out on it and stood up to anyone she felt was doing wrong by her. I loved that she had pet turtles, Ren and Stimpy, and not the typical cat or dog. The way Nicole collects the money for the kids Christmas party was a gag.

Like i said enjoyed this book today as much as I did when I read it. I am so ready for Jared. The narrator did a wonderful job his voice changes were enough that you realized it was a different character.  I am so ready to listen to all these warriors stories and catch up on all of them.

I was given this book by the author for my honest opinion

Wow where do I even begin, with the vampire still after the family And Zeke one of the last to not be mated took it upon himself to go out and find this ancient book that’s supposed to help with this issue. The first night of his adventure he went into a bar not knowing it was full of vampires next thing He knew this bad ass biker chick in the leather walks in and kick some major vampire ass. Well after all the vampires were disintegrated and one thing led to another and they were in Zeke’s truck but then they were on their way to the hotel and you can only imagine what happened, they woke up with matching mating tattoos. The goofball brother Finally found his mate and little did he know he was going to be made it with a vampire Hunter of all things. Out to find the book and kill the biggest vampires threat to both their families Zeke and Dakota are off to find it, taking us on a wild ride and you’re gonna want to go on it is amazing.  I freaking love this book I seriously can’t get enough of it I would love I want to read it again and again and again it’s my favorite Hallow so far I just loved it so much.

What a GREAT addition to the continued ARC of this story!!!  OMG  Zeke and Dakota were awesome!!

Zeke is a baby brother in the mix of 7 brothers, so I did not feel we knew a lot about him other then he was a goofball.  So, seeing him take the reigns to protect his ever-growing family made him stand out.  His brothers are all mated and now daddies, so he jumps to try and find THE BOOK they need to keep the pack safe.

Dakota is one tough a$$ chick!!  Her character was amazing.  She is one sister-in-law or daughter-in-law the Hallows will be leaning on when the final war happens.  She has seen all the bad things the vampires are capable of and she has risen from the trauma to be a vampire hunter.

When she stalks into a bar and sees Zeke, they are both stunned and attracted instantly.  When they have a fun night, they wake up, and Zeke has some explaining to do.  We all know what they have buuuut Dakota is not a big believer is fate let alone a fated mate!!

The story goes on and we see Zeke being Dakota’s “side kick” to track down the Vampires with the book they need.  Soon they discover the vampires also have another little hidden gem for world domination so they, of course, decide to ruin that plan as well.

The story is fast paced.  We learn about a society of humans who work together to stop vampires and other bad creatures.  We learn about Dakotas past and hurt which prevents her from moving forward.  We also see Zeke becoming the selfless hero all the Hallows become to protect their mate.

The story was a great addition to the series.  I look forward to each installment and cannot wait to see what happens in the next book.  Baby brother Josh will soooo fall for his mate and we will see what happens with the overall arc of the story.
