TWINSIE DEB’S REVIEW

Stain by J.M. Walker
Asher & Meeka
HOLY COWZ…VERY INTENSE STORY
5 Stars

So, this is the second installment into the King’s Harlots series and it just keeps getting better. This was an action packed emotional roller coaster and that tore me up. Such grit and mayhem infused with sex appeal and peppered with humor. You can’t go wrong with this beautiful story.

Asher is on VICE-One and a Navy Seal. He’s trying like hell to shut down a sex trading ring. He’s inserted himself and Meeka into the dark world of monsters. On top of this mindfuck he’s entered into, he’s dealing with his own battles that seem to stay at bay when Meeka is around. What is this dude thinking? He needs some serious help!

Meeka is part of the King’s Harlots MC and still kind of on the outs with Jay the MC President due to some past shit. Meeka is a good girl. The girl nextdoor if you will. She’s quiet, poised, but always ready for anything. That is until Asher asks for her help in taking down this sex trafficking ring. Holy hell, how freaking scary. I cringed every time she had to meet with that evil jerk Charles.

The supporting character cast is fairly large. I think I’ll only mention a few. It was nice to see Angel and Jay making appearances here and there. I hated that fucker Tyler… but then again… I hated him in the first book Grit. He’s still not my fave, but plays an outstanding villain. Now this Charles Brian, holy freaking hell. This guy makes Charles Manson and Jeffrey Dahmer look like the Pope. I don’t think there’s any human left in him, he’s mostly all monster.

So, to say this was good is an understatement. It was fanfuckingtastic! Stain has a great storyline that just keeps you guessing. I loved the characters, good and bad. I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome, but still somewhat perplexed as to where this is going to go in the next installment. Can’t wait to see! The pacing is perfect and the dialogue flows nicely. Great job Jo.
