#Review #Shifter #Alpha Romancing The Alpha (True Mates 3) by Alicia Montgomery

***Can be read as a standalone billionaire werewolf shifter paranormal book**
In the next installment of the True Mates series, New York Alpha Grant Anderson meets his match in feisty New Jersey Alpha, Francesca “Frankie” Muccino.

New Jersey Alpha Francesca “Frankie” Muccino never had it easy. Alpha of her ragtag clan, head of her family, and manager of their ailing restaurant business, she’s got a lot on her plate. When a handsome, sexy, and very naked Lycan shows up on her doorstep, sparks immediately fly, but it’s one more complication she can’t handle.

Escaping from a kidnapping attempt by his enemies, New York Alpha Grant Anderson finds himself in New Jersey territory. He’s immediately drawn to the plucky and spirited Frankie, and has no qualms about going for what he wants – her, in his bed. The Jersey Alpha won’t be an easy catch, but Grant is determined to tame the wild she-wolf.

Danger brings them together as the evil mages come back for their revenge, determined more than ever to take Lycans down. Thirsty for retribution, they have taken in a new ally, one that’s closer to the New York clan and could finally bring them the victory they want. Frankie is caught in the middle of the war between the New York Clan and the mages and Grant will do anything to protect her. Can he keep her safe and win her over, or will the mages and their mysterious ally tear them apart?

Romancing the Alpha is a full-length (over 70,000 words) billionaire werewolf steamy paranormal romance with explicit love scenes, naughty language, and shifter suspense action with guaranteed HEA and no cliffhangers!

Although it works as a standalone romance story, this book takes place in the True Mates series world. To understand the elements, I recommend you read “Fated Mates” and “Blood Moon” before this book.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book

Grant Anderson is the alpha billionaire of New York. He is trying to keep the lycan safe safe from the mages.
Francesca Muccino, to her family and friends, is one of the only female alphas to led a pack. She is New Jersey’s alpha, that is the New York packs neighbor, and she meets Grant by running into him literally like with her car, after he’s been drugged and kidnaped.
Though this is Grant and Frankie’s first meeting, it’s not the first time we are meeting her, we met her in book one when she saved Alynna from a group of catty women at her coming out ball.
Not only is Frankie the alpha for New Jersey, she along with her brothers, runs a Italian Restaurant that has been in her family for generations.
Even though they’ve never met Grant caught her scent the night of the ball and hasn’t stop thinking about the mysterious woman with the yummy smell.
In this story we not only have the mages trying to kill off the alpha, we also have a group of lycan working with them to try and take over New York. Oh, and we have a delusional female that thinks Grant is in love with her.
Frankie has major high walls around her heart where men are concerned and I have to say if I was in her place I’d say forget men and switch sides!! Lol, but seriously it takes hard work on Grant’s part to get her to see that he has real feelings for her.
Babies being born, surprise trips to Italy, hot alpha sex, kidnappings, killer mages, this book has it all and I can’t wait for the next one!!

Alicia Montgomery has always dreamed of becoming a romance novel writer. She started writing down her stories in now long-forgotten diaries and notebooks, never thinking that her dream would come true. Now, after taking the well-worn path to a stable career, she is now plunging into the world of self-publishing. She thanks her wonderful friends, M, J, and L, who encouraged her to pursue this brand new adventure, and her husband JT who is getting his thanks in the form of “research.
