Review by Twinsie Angie

I was given this book by the authors for an honest review.

I was at a book signing when the authors told me about this hysterical romantic suspense/romantic comedy they were braining storming taking place at an author event.  They said it would be based out of the town my author event was in, so I was down to check it out.  The book was getting ready to go live when one approached me to see if I was still interested in reading.  I was pumped because what die hard reader wouldn’t want to read about a mystery at a book signing??

I will say I was a smidge saddened to see the description of my hometown, but I guess author liberties ya know. Any way.  I jumped into the story and immediately connected with the characters since I have been to a billion events all over.  I related totally to the BobaBook Babes and their love of swag, VIP tickets, stalking out my favorite author (though not so much for cover models personally) and everything associated with an event.

The banter between characters was very much like what me and my friends would be saying to each other.  We defo throw every cheesy pun at each other while we are having a fun time together much like our characters.  However, we have never had the issue of a murder let alone 2 murders to contend with.

The story was fun and light.  The banter between characters was spot on for what me and my friends would say/act.  The 2nd chance story with Gina and Austin was adorable and naughty which every romance reader wants.

I enjoyed the story of who done it.  They kept us guessing and throwing new suspects at us through the storyline.  I enjoyed the book but really loved the murder weapon for Mr. Stiff.  I totally laughed and will always think of that when I see them at events.

Rochelle puts an artistic spin on everything she does but there are two things she fails at miserably:
1. Cooking (seriously, she can burn water)
2. Sewing (buttons immediately fall back off)

She loves baking and makes a mean BTS (Better than Sex) cake. When in observation mode she is quiet, however, her mouth is usually open with an encouraging glass-is-half-full pun or, quite possibly, her foot.

She is a Bearcat, a Buckeye, an interior decorator, and fluent in sarcasm.

In 2008, when her youngest entered Kindergarten, she decided to get the stories out of her head. Midway through her first novel, hurricane Ike (yes, a hurricane in Ohio) rendered the laptop useless with a nine-day power outage. She didn’t give up, but continued to pursue her dream.

Every November Rochelle takes on the challenge of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo.org) where she endeavors to write 50,000 words in thirty days. You can often hear her cheering the Dayton area Wrimos (those who join her in this crazy pursuit).

Rochelle shares her home with a big black cat, an itty-bitty orange tiger kitty, her daughter, her son, and her Prince.

She loves to connect with readers. You can find her on Facebook (search for Author Rochelle Bradley), Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.
