Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.

My name is Thia Mackin. I was born and raised in a small town in central Kentucky near the Bourbon Capital of the World. I’m a boring person who has experienced amazing things.

 

How did you hear about this event?  How many years have you attended?

Both readers and authors have told me great things about this event. I’ve been meaning to apply for a while, but this is my first year!

 

What genres do you write?

I write Urban Fantasy Romance. My books are spicier than UF readers expect but less spicy than most paranormal readers want.

 

What is a book of yours you wish more people read?

Omega is my favorite book I’ve ever written. When I saw the premade cover my artist dropped, I dreamed the entire book like a movie that night. Luckily, Alex hadn’t sold it! I absolutely fell in love with Omega. She’s a strong, independent woman who will do anything to save the world–even sacrifice herself.

 

What is one fun fact about you?  It can be anything like food allergy, fear of something, weird way you broke a bone…….

I’m an adrenaline junkie–snorkeling with Caribbean reef sharks, ziplining over the Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls, hiking volcanos!
