So I am a SUCKER for a good MC book. I am a huge SOA fan sooo yes this book sounded good. Then when another author recommened the series to me……SOLD!! I got swamped and had to let this little gem sit on my TBR shelf for a few weeks….BOOOO but holy smokes when i started reading it, I. COULD. NOT. PUT. IT. DOWN!!!!!!!
Doll is a hellion throughand through. She was rasied by her dad, Roundman aka MC pres, and she knows her place. But she still is wanting to be an ol’lady at some point in her life. She wants this life and will find a biker someday to be hers. Well enter Tripp. He is the Pres to a charter club and sees Doll….SPARKS!! When he realizes she is Roundman’s Doll he runs the other way. He can’t stop thinking about her and her him buuuuut she will not chase a guy and she is OFF LIMITS to him.
Well a bad guy who is in business with Doll’s dad makes a threat against her. So Roundman sends Doll and her bestie Sass packing with Rex and Tripp. They have to make it look like a romantic trip so to keep the bad guys from knowing that Roundman is gonna kill ’em!! NOBODY meses with Roundman and his MC family but you mention Doll and you pretty much signed your own death warrant!!!
SOOOOO, life on the road, hot sexual chemistry and BOOM they are at it. BUT Tripp can’t be with doll. She is to pure sooo he does what all idiot men do…turns to another woman!! GROWL!!! When the two finally admit to the attraction ,after Rex and Sass helped get some prospective, the relationship blooms until its time to take Doll home. They are both a mess but how can they be together? How can they make it work???? My favorite scene was when Doll and Roundman had “words” about her relationship with Tripp and when Tripp and Roundman have words…..best scenes ever.
I loved this book and can’t wait to jump into book 2 with Sass and her story. I also can’t wait for more Tripp and Doll story. The two of them are two peas on the biker pod!!
