I received this book from the author for an honest opinion/Review.

GAH!!!  I am such a crazy person for classic lit and I FLOVE the Count of Monte Cristo, so I was soooo on board for this book!

The book is obviously a bit different then the original hence the Twisted Classics series name but don’t worry classic friends, you will enjoy this book just as much even with the changes.

Will/The Count/ Eddie is after the woman and the men who put him in prison.  He is going to destroy them one at a time.  But taking HER down is the biggest victory for him.

Mercy is the boss.  She is ruthless and takes no prisoners which is why she is the one in charge.  She put her family away and took over the empire but soon discovers what a rotten empire she has under her.

The chemistry between Will and Mercy is great.  So many times, I was like JUST TELL HER WILL and then other times I was like GAH WHY DID YOU DO THAT MERCY!!!

The story line will keep you on your toes with the action and all the bad guys.  I swear this town was like Gotham with all the bad dudes running amuck!!

The final chapters when everything comes to the front and we see even more things shake out I legit did a gasp!! I was wondering and hoping and then even more giddy when I read about….eeeep I cant tell you sorry but trust me….if you love classic lit or if you are a fan of Monica’s stories then you will want to pick this one up.

This is one of my favorite friends to lovers books. Hailey and Max have been best friends for as long as they have known each other.  They both have such strong feelings for one another but they both suppress those feelings because they don’t want to lose the friendship they have. In the midst of trying to hang on to their friendship and forge their own paths they find themselves drifting apart.

When Max receives Hailey’s wedding invitation in the mail, he realizes she has moved on and he is crushed ok maybe a bit more than crushed. However, what he does at the wedding shreds what friendship they have. That is until Hailey world is turned upside down and inside out. Max is there for her even if they will never be anything more than just friends.

I have to say Max was on my shit list but seeing how he stepped up and was there for Hailey not expecting anything in return. He was just there for her and was being the best friend she needed him to be for her.  The things he did for her started to melt that big block of ice that built up around my heart toward him.

This book had my emotions all over I was laughing, crying then wanted to punch someone in particular.  These two had so much to overcome and the back and forth of them wanting to take things further but then not wanting to ruin their friendship had my heart in knots. Love makes you do some crazy things. The comedic relief that Max’s brother, Micah, provided was stellar. He kept Max on his toes. I loved him so much and if he ever got a book I would be all over that.

I read the blurb, loved the cover and needed this book instantly. Now that I’m done the book, it actually wasn’t what I was expecting. I’m not sure what I was expecting though. I didn’t realize that this book was about a married couple’s journey to exploring their kinky side. It was a nice surprise actually. I guess I thought the kinky fantasies would have happened sooner. Boy was I wrong. Lol!

I was traveling home and devoured this book in one sitting basically. Elle and Easton have an explosive chemistry. The love they have for each other melts off of the pages. Add to the fact that Easton fulfills his wife’s fantasies…

So this book lets us see how Elle and Easton met. Some sexy times they share. And a look into their friend’s lives as well.

I think I would have liked a little more chapters from Easton’s POV but again, I devoured the book, so it’s not a huge huge deal.

Once the fantasy finally takes place, it’s hot. So so hot. Oh and this is actually my first book of Alessandra’s but I’ve heard that it’s her hottest. There is a part 2 to this book coming out and I really can’t wait to see how else Easton fulfills his wife’s delicious fantasies.

Oh Lucas I have waited so long for your and Lily’s story. You have no idea how happy my heart is that Lucas finally opened up and let JM tell his story. I have been there with you from the beginning. I have loved you as long as JM has. Yes, I fell in love with him from the first time I read about him and was thrilled when JM started writing their story.  Let me tell you Lucas story was well worth the wait.

I knew Lucas was going to have a troubled past but man I had no idea it was this troubled. Oh Lucas, I wanted to hug you and protect your while you were a child. The torcher and torment you went threw broke my heart.

Lily you are so spunky and sassy. I fell in love with you as much as I did Lucas. The instant connection that Lucas had to Lily was incredible and you both have kindred spirits. The way Lily accepted Lucas exactly how is was made my heart so happy because he deserved to have that unconditional love he never had.

I’m just going to toss this in here I LOVE Lilly’s Grandma. She is so sassy but insightful and knew just what to say when it was needed. Can I say Lucas Computer room was unforgettable and is a computer geeks dream. Not only did the computer room amaze me but Lucas and Lily’s ability to hack was mind blowing. Lucas is gruff and an asshole at times but when Lily is around, he has a sweet side but let’s not tell Lucas I said that. The tattoos the two of them did was absolutely heartwarming.

I was so excited to read this story and my love for Lucas and Lily grew 100 times more. The twists and turns had me hanging on. This truly is an amazing story of shattered souls who find the one that can make them whole again.

I purchased this book.

I have known this author for a couple years but haven’t been able to grab a book and read it.  Well this year on vacation I made time read a couple of her new series novellas.  I love novellas and the quick story they provide especially when a thunderstorm ruins your vacation plans for the day.

When this book started, I was in total stitches and could totally relate to what Hazel was going through.  She is a strong woman who doesn’t really need a man or the heartbreak associated with them to get what she needs.  She “takes care of business” on her own.  When she has a slight mishap that sends her to the ER, she comes across Nurse Hottie AKA Joshua.

Joshua is blown over by the confident and sexy hot mess who came to the ER with some hives happening.  He wishes he could have the ability to ask her out but dating patients is a motto he follows in life after a mishap with a fellow co-worker.

After a month, Joshua and Hazel run into each other and the sparks are there like they were in the ER Room.  The story is hilariously sexy and full of chemistry.  Seeing the sparks between the two flies along with the ability to work out their fears and anxieties.

I loved the epilogue like CRAZY!!  It was a perfect mix and great to let us know about the HEA we know Hazel and Joshua have but in a different viewpoint.

That’s right a couple of the true mate kiddos travel accidentally back in time after a attack by the mages.

It was funny seeing 3 people from this time trying to fit in during that time period and Alicia Montgomery did a excellent job at making me feel that it was a smooth transaction be between time periods.
I’m excited to see who will be the next True Mate kiddo to find their mate and to see if they can defeat the mages once and for all.

I received this book for an honest review.

I have enjoyed all of Kylie’s books so far. She was able to keep me guessing and had me needing to find out who was behind everything. I did like the banter and humor she was able to pack into this book.

Betty is fed up with her boring lonesome life with her husband. He is not spontaneous and has to leave her to for his job.  She had decided to make a change and leave Thom. However, the day she decides to leave is the day her world is turned upside down.  Not everything is as it seams you can never believe what your eyes see or what you think you know. This is the day Betty finds out her life with Thom has been nothing but lies.

Thom needed a cover and being a normal average joe with a fiancé was the perfect cover. He never dreamed that by having Betty as his cover life would put her life in danger. But now he finds himself on the run with Betty trying to figure out who is trying to kill them.  Now that Betty knows the truth Thom is determined to make Betty see even if their relationship was based on a lie what he feels for her is real.

I have to say this was a good suspense romance. I so wanted to know who the person was behind everything and why they were doing this. This had violence, action and suspense but it also had humor.  Betty cracked me up with some of her thoughts and how she would sort through everything that was happening around her.  The twist and turns kept all of them on their toes even me. This was entertaining and as I read this story it was like a movie unfolding.

This has really been one of the most heart wrenching series that I think that I have ever read, that being said I do so think that Carrie Ann Ryan has once again written a story that finds itself ripped from someone’s life.  As we know, and if you don’t I’ll tell you, that the couples in this series are dealing with the death of a friend and finding love after.  As they are doing this they are doing this with people that they have known since forever and the death of the friend brought them back together.
Sienna and Aiden have a very special relationship.  Sienna had a crush on Aiden as a teen, but nothing could come of it because he was her best friend Allison’s boyfriend.  Years later even after Allison and Aiden had been broken up nothing could come of it because she couldn’t talk to her about it because she was dead. 
However, the heart wants what it wants and to people coming together in love is a beautiful thing.  
Aiden and Sienna might just be my new favorite couple…….
