Charlie just wanted a fresh start, new relationship in a new place, after her boyfriend of 2 years pulled the ultimate Legally Blonde move and took her to a fancy dinner where she hoped he was going to pop the question only to be broken up with. So Charlie’s uncle offered her a job at his dentist office in Mason Creek and she took it 6 months later her bestie told her she needed to try some dating apps and well 3 failed dates later and a good laugh for the good looking bartender and she was done sating until the good looking bartender came into her office and offered to show her what a real date is supposed to be like. But with that will these two catch feelings or will it be another fail.

Author Jennifer Miller was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois but now calls Arizona home. After winning a school writing contest at the young age of nine, when she wrote a book about a girl and her pet unicorn (her spirit animal), she dreamed of writing a book of her own. The important lesson she learned about dreams is that they don’t simply fall into your lap – you have to chase them yourself. Her greatest role however is that of a wife and mother. I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

When I set out to read this one, I was ready for the angst, drama filled, leaves you hanging books she usually writes.  I was shocked to see this was not one of those books this was a comedy and oh boy did she have me laughing.

Willow spent her time as a kid at the beach house with her family.  Her best friend was Russ the neighbor boy but she spent her summers drooling over his older brother Casey.  After 6 years she and her friend return to the beach house to relax and have fun.  With the help of an energetic dog, she is reunited with the last per she ever expected.  Her best friend that she lost contact with over the years, Russ.

These two had me in stitches their antics were too funny.  Just saying when alcohol gets involved these two come up with the craziest things. The personal memories that Willow and Russ brought back from my younger years watching their crazy antics were great. This was such a fun read. I have to say I think I loved Taco the most he even got in on the action.  HAHAHHAHAHA

I need to start by saying that this is a really great, but intense story. I don’t think there is anything crazy that would be a trigger for someone but there are some areas that will really make you feel some things. I have experienced “the system” and I must say that this story is very accurate but not all cases turn out the same way. This is full of hope and love but with a lot of struggles.

This author took a very difficult situation and wove it into a beautiful story. You see several points of view including the judge, social worker, the lawyer, and the addict. You really get a full sense of how one decision changes everything. One small decision, every moment of every day can make huge shifts or transitions in a short amount of time. Depending on whether that decision is for a good change or a bad change can cause a lot of sacrifices for yourself and others. Sort of like the butterfly effect and you have no idea how far it reaches until sometimes it’s too late.

Aggravated Circumstances is one of those stories that I had to sit and process at times because it gives you a crazy amount of feels. It will make you really think about all the little things that affect everything. This is a very intriguing and compelling story that I highly recommend!

Ok so we are back in the Bowmen house and Sunshine is helping with James and Zoe the newest family members that no one really knew about and shes 5. Well now shes here and her mom is missing so Nate called his brother Mitchell to tell him he has a daughter and he needs to get back to Mason Creek immediately. Mitchell obviously had no idea he had a daughter he was always so careful so he thought, well once he gets home, and meets his daughter for the first time, he gets to see how much his childhood home has changed since he was last there when his mother was alive. Then he sees Sunshine for the first time and he has no idea what he has gotten into, and Sunshine has butterflies in her stomach and feels her face getting warmer when she see him.  Will these two keep it professional and be just boss and employee or will they give into their attraction for each other becoming a little family. Also will Mitchell keep his promise to his daughter and bring her mom home. This was such a cute story and i loved getting more of Sunshine and being back in the Bowmen’s house.

Omg this was another amazing book by Albany and I’m obsessed with lol her word.

Omg I don’t even know where to begin with this book its so freaking goo i flew through it i could not put it down. Evvie was so self conscious about her body and life she worked at java jitters and loved it but she also wanted to go back to school, but her family mainly her mother tore her down ever chance she got til one night she was fed up and moved out. This sexy cowboy from Texas walked into the coffee shop wanting to find out where to buy land for a ranch but didn’t want to step on the toes of the ranchers that where already there. Well he caught his eye on a beautiful curvy Evvie and he was swooning. They had sparks at first site and their chemistry was on fire. Things were going great for them Evvie signed up for welding classes and Bo was doing his rancher thing. Life was perfect and thing Bo sister came for a visit and brought her best friend who was doing everything she could to steal Bo from Evvie, will her insecurities get the best of her and have her running or will she stay and fight for the man who love her and she loves him. Wow wow wow this story was amazing and if the sexy scenes don’t make things tingle i don’t know what will lol. These two have the best story of love at first sight and it makes me so jealous I’m still waiting for my cowboy to sweep me off my feet lol.
