*Clapping* Shifters…YESSSSS!!!  I love shifter books thank you very much!!

Ok so last book Koby was kinda a major pain in the ass for Hot and Jaeda.  He kept demanding Jaeda was his mate….wellllll not her so much as her TWIN Sidia!!! Once Koby found this news out, dude was GONE to find and save his mate from the hunters.

I loved the raw lust and then love between Koby and Sidia.  They are both shifters so they KNEW what would happen with the mating unlike poor human Holt…he is learning the ways thought guys.

We get a lot of “mating” time with the couple but we also see the pack trying to figure out what the heck happened 5 years ago.  Who was the traitor and why did they decimate the female bears????  Once we get the information plus we get a sneak peak of the next couples books we know everything is going to change drastically for the pack, the hidden females and the news about a new bear pack!!  GASP so much happened in such a small book!!!

Anyway, look out for book 3 because both bears are going to be a handful.  I so cannot wait to see what shenanigans Xandra pulls for Declan.

Oh sisters. My favorite books to fall back and read are shifters. I am a total book whore for a good shifter series and this one is going to be a favorite for dang sure.

I loved this dynamic of this book. Female bear shifters are all thought to be dead until one falls on the Holloway lands and claims…..not a bear……but human as her mate. I was loving the fact that the female is the one who can fully decide who she wants to mate, and she chose a human. Not any of the tough as nails Alaskan Grizzly bears but a human marine who wont back down for the bears either.

Jaeda has been taught to hide from hunters and fear the Holloway clan. She doesn’t know why but she has and does fear them. As she runs on the land she sees and senses her mate in Holt. Holt makes a promise to her right then and there to protect her when she is scared and begs him for help.

The little trouble maker that Jaeda is tricks Holt into mating with her and then all hell breaks loose because one of the bears thinks she is his mate and is uber confused by this. He goes as far as to challenge Holt for her. YIKES!! So yeah, the friendships are all put to the test.

I flew through this hot little read and immediately bought book 2 because I am so curious about who betrayed the clan, if Koby finds his mate and more about the Holloway family.

Lacey is a hyper blonde, bouncing through life with her magical bracelets of positivity. A die hard gamer (she refuses to call it an addiction), she resides in the Midwest, mom to three awesome children, one demanding bulldog, and two crazy cats. She has a passion for life and tends to leap long before she checks for safety exits. She writes possessive, alpha heroes who demand everything from the women they love. Believing sex is an integral part of a healthy romantic relationship, she doesn’t believe in closed doors, or even confining things to the indoors. Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.

Anna Hague, I live in central Indiana with my husband, three parrots and a dog. We are both sports nuts and especially love IndyCar racing. In my other career, I am a freelance sportswriter. I love that too, and doubt I’ll ever totally give that up. Too many cool perks. (And hot race car drivers). My husband and I don’t have children of our own, but we’ve had 11 foreign exchange students and have been lucky enough to travel to visit several of them in their home countries.

When and Why did you start to write?

I’ve written stories all of my life, but didn’t try to make a serious attempt at publishing until 2015. I decided it’s now or never and put myself out there. I’m so glad I did.

What authors do you always read or suggest to others?

Wow I read so many different authors, but some of my go to’s are Kat Martin, Carl Hiaasen, Aleatha Romig, Tamsen Parker, Christina McKnight and Janet Evanovich

What is the most surprising thing you have found out with the writing process?

Some days you are so on it and the words just fall into place, and other days (which might even be the next day) it seems like you are trying to write in another language. Pleasure and pain.

What are you working on now?

I am working on a BDSM romance series. It is a three-book series with a publisher, so I don’t have a release date as yet, but Book one hopefully will be out by WOTR18. Also, I will have a romantic suspense titled Risk, Reward or Ruin out in July 2018

When writing are you a pantser or plotter?

Total punster. I’m relaxed in chaos and freaked out by organization

Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.

Hi, Lyssa Layne here! Single mom to a sassy five-year-old who is my clone, it’s kind of scary. Lover of Grey’s Anatomy and anything involving firefighters which led me to write my first ever novel, Love is a Fire.

When and Why did you start to write?

I published my first novel in May 2014. As a blogger, I was asked to review a book and was introduced to the world of indie authors. I thought to myself, hey, I can do that… and so, I did!

What authors do you always read or suggest to others?

Melissa Keir, K. S. Thomas, Michele Shriver, and Judy Blume… we all need a little Judy Blume in our lives.

What is the most surprising thing you have found out with the writing process?

That you never have it mastered, it’s always changing because I’m always changing.

What are you working on now?

A cowboy bride story that’ll be out in June. If you’ve read Until You Fall In Love, this will be a prequel to it.

When writing are you a pantser or plotter?

I plot… then I pants.

Carmine you sweet talker!!  Natalia you sweet innocent girl!!

Lyssa told me she thought Carmine would steal my heart and I gotta agree.  I sure did enjoy seeing the playboy fall in love with the sweet innocent girl in Natalie.

The couple meet and are instantly attracted to each other however, Natalia is pulling away but why I mean Carmine is THE BACHELOR and he wants to see you.

Carmine can’t believe this young woman has him is such a fit of agony, but he just needs to be with he rand get to know her more.

The couple get to spend time together when we learn some family secrets on both sides that cause our H/h to split up.  I was loving the surprise twist that we were given as to why they can’t be together.

I loved the epilogue, but my heart was super happy to see that Frankie and Guy get another book all about their wedding!!  YIPPEE!!!!

I purchased this book.

I am so clapping right now.  I was super excited to see Gia get a book.  The eldest sister needed an HEA and I am thrilled with how she got one.

We have seen Gia and Vinnie in the other books and we have not been fans of his and now we get the full truth of their marriage.  Vinnie is a DICK!  Gia is the good girl.  The girl who followed her father’s rules and married an Italian man.  She is the dutiful daughter and wife who is miserable in her life.

When we see Luca and Gia meet my heart was so conflicted for her because divorce isn’t an option for her not that Vinnie would ever leave his punching bag.  Seeing Luca and Gia form this undeniable bond was amazing.  Seeing the ends of the Earth Luca goes to help save Gia is even better.

I am not getting into a lot of the plot because I think it would be a big spoiler if I said Gia *spoiler* and then Vinnie *Spoiler*…so yeah you wanna know how the broken eldest was glues back together??  Then read the story!!!

Dell is……. Well Dell is that strong and silent male and it’s always the quiet ones that you have to watch out for and I mean that in such a delicious way.
Dell can fight the pull of Roslyn as his mate no more, especially now that he knows how much pain she is hiding. There is lots going on in this book; change for the pack, a couple coming together, a horrible past coming back, Dell kicking a$$, and Leda leaving.
I love that we get to see all of our favorite couples from the Lee County Pack. Not only that, we get to hear a glimpse of our favorite funny VC Warrior and Leda’s bestie Steve.
I also am on pins and needles to see how Leda is going to deal with who comes after her!!
I know, I know my review is so vague, but you gotta read it to find out I can’t give all of Gabelman’s secrets away!!!

I purchased this book.

I abso love Lyssa’s books.  Her characters make my heart so happy.  I fall head over heals in love with each of her men because she writes the sweetest alpha’s every….sigh.

SO this review is for book 2 in the set of novella’s.  This is Lorenzo and Antonia’s story.

We saw the twinkle in their eyes for each other in the first story but this is all about the untraditional love story between these two friends and one time lovers.

Lorenzo has had a think for Antonia for as long as he can remember.  He dreams of the day when she will see him for the man he is now and not the young boy he was once.

Antonia can’t remember being loved by another like she was with Lorenzo.  However, she doesn’t seem to love herself enough and settles with a DB of epic proportions until Donovan gives her a giant ultimatum.

Antonia runs to her friend, Lorenzo, who then helps her deal with the repercussions of her decision along with pick up the pieces of her shattered life.

Can I say I wanted to throat punch Antonia a few times, but sweet baby Jesus did I love Lorenzo and His strong silent character was so what she needed and what she deserved.

*Puuuurrrrring* Hey Dell.  Where have you been all my life.  Man, I was so not expecting you to knock my socks off like you did but geesh is Ross a lucky chick.

Dell is the quiet guy.  The guy who you can rely on to kick some a$$ when it is needed.  He is the guy you know will follow through on orders so when he is faced with this new dilemma of claiming his mate FINALLY annnnd taking on more pack responsibilities, he steps up in a BIG WAY!!

Ross has been through A LOT but we have only seen the ice burg of the horrors and abuses her step-brother Carl put her in and through.  When her past comes into town and threatens her new happy life, she makes some pretty bad decisions that will hurt her, Dell and the pack in general.

Ross and Dell are one hell of a power couple.  They both are pretty tough and will do a great job in the Pack leadership roles they are going to be assuming.  The love and respect they both have for the other is so well written and so well appreciated by their mate.  The sneak peek at the next book has me in some serious goose bumps.  OMG Taz and Leeda PLUS they are in Warrior country…oh hell how long do I have to wait for this book!!!
