He was not kind, loving or in any way nurturing to you.  The only thing he did was give you a lovely roof over your head, have a devoted half-sister for you and introduce you to Marce who is more a mother/friend for Ellie.

Alex *sigh* What a wonderful life you lived with Mrs. Dutton.  Your parents abandoned you but still you grew up with love and devotion from this woman who sacrificed do much for you.  You may have been cold, poor and hungry but you never went without love.  The two of you had such a different life.

Ellie and Alex are thrown together because he is the hired stable hand at Ellie’s father’s home.  She can’t stop watching him and wondering about him but she always treats him high handed and rudely.  She is the bastard daughter of the Drake.  She is his spitting image at times.  Alex cannot stop watching Ellie out of the corner of his eye. The two have such an amazing journey in this story.  You can see them both growing but Ellie’s growth knocked me off my socks.  She makes such strides in overcoming her personality flaws for fear of ending up like her father….cold, miserable, heart broken and alone.  Alex is stunned by what is discovered and cannot believe the changes it will make for his life but one thing he cannot risk is losing Ellie to his new life circumstances.

Oh those Caldwell Brothers are some hot alpha men that make us woman swoon!!! I will admit that Morrison has my heart but I liked Jagger’s story.
We know that Jagger gets arrested in the last book for beating up a drunk who was beating on someone. Well in his book we actually see him saving a 17 year old girl from her abusive father. Due to fear Totty won’t leave her father but she keeps thinking of the kindness that Jagger shows her. He was the only person to EVER show her kindness. Jagger is trying to save her since no one could save their mother from their abusive father….#BeTheGood
Jagger becomes obsessed with the little one and is soon buying her things secretly to try and show her someone cares. Totty keeps these treasures hidden for fear of her father finding them. When the final straw of abuse happens. Totty runs to the only person who has been kind to her…Jagger. But she runs into his boxing nemesis Cobra.
Cobra takes Totty who he calls Mouse to try and “steal” this woman from Jagger but Totty only sees him as her friend. When he is reunited with Jagger she is perusing him for a “more” relationship but until her 18th birthday Jagger STAYS AWAY. When her birthday finally arrives Jagger is torn. I loved the series and fell in love with each brother for different reasons but I am going to stay strong with my #TeamMorrison banner. I love the theme of family and the importance of being there for each other without judgement. Do they fight? HECK yes but they always have each other’s backs!!

I loved this series and the Caldwell brothers. I have to say Jagger is one of my favorites. He is the ultimate bad boy the perfect mix between let’s take it to the ring and I’ll show you who is the ultimate fighter to the caring loving soft hearted man. Then there is Tatiana the young naive girl that gets used as a punching bag by her own father.

Tatiana is seventeen living with her father who is also the owner of the building Jagger lives in. Her father keeps her in the apartments makes her do home schooling and takes his aggression’s out on her nightly. One night Jagger can no longer take it and steps in. Only he lands himself in trouble and Tatiana is still stuck in her situation because there is little the authorities can do if she doesn’t want help.

Jagger takes things into his own hands to help her even if it means he gets in more trouble. Will she be able to accept him being the fighter he is or will things be too much for her? What will Jagger do to keep her by his side?

I so enjoyed seeing everyone again Jared included he may not be one of the Caldwell brothers but he is family all the same. To see how Livi reached out and welcomed Tatiana with open arms as family warmed my heart. Especially knowing that is what Tatiana wanted and needed was to be loved and a part of a family. The gifts Jagger gave Tatiana while she was still with her dad brought tears to my eyes. He is such a thoughtful man. I just love seeing how these two came together and helped each other bring out the good after both living similar horrific child hoods.

I would love to see more of the Caldwell brothers or more collaborations from Chelsea Camaron and MJ Fields. These two make a great writing team and tell wonderful stories.

This is my very first book by this author but I wont be the last for sure.

This books is about finding what you need when you didn’t know you even needed it or wanted it.  Dylan is Mr. Playboy who is very happy with the status quo.  When he wants company he can dial any list of woman and have it.  Sloane is getting over her break up and wondering what a fling might be like plus it might help take her mind off of everything that is going on in her life.

Sloane gets a big bunch of bad news about her fiancée so she runs across the USA to run her recently deceased uncle’s bar.  While working one night she meets Dylan who happens to be a much needed electrician.  The two have instant chemistry but with him working for her bar, he decides to cool any possible hook ups.  Sloane is sad but appreciated his honestly.

When the two end up spending time together over the holidays, all bets are off.  They become inseparable.  They are enjoying each other’s company until someone drops the “L” bomb right when Sloane gets even more bad news and a visit from her past.  All of this puts a strain on this friends with benefits relationship and pushes Sloane away.  Too bad for Sloane, Dylan’s family and friends smack him in the head and make him go after the woman he needs to feel complete in his life.

I really liked Dylan’s character.  He was really funny, flirty and honest.  I enjoyed how he owned up to his feelings even when he was scared out of his mind for feeling the way he did.  Sloane, at times, made me want to smack her but I got why she was so closed off given her ex and the “back home situation she has to deal with.

Sierra Hill wrote her first full-length romance after a corporate acquisition led her to a stint of unemployment, offering her some quality writing time.

She loves writing about the fictional characters that live in her brain who constantly shout for their own love story to be told.

Sierra resides in the Pacific Northwest with her husband of twenty years and her long-haired, German Shepherd. She is currently working on her next book.

OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY!!!  I got this ARC and I had been dying for it but I was afraid to read it because I knew it was going to be amazing.  I knew that Luke would steal my heart. I knew I would love Addy’s sass and spirit but I was so wrong.  This book was 10 times better than I could have dreamed it to be.   This book is more than 5 stars.  I mean if I could rate it 10 I would without even batting an eye.  There was so much steam that it will melt your e-readers.  There was so much chemistry that you will combust.  There is so much hilarity from the two of them bickering while fighting this inevitable love, you will be laughing your butt off.

When we meet Luke in Book 1, he is dark and brooding.  He is the perfect alpha right ladies??  We all love the broken soul.  He and Livia have a bond due to what they survived together and mainly from his actions.  He carries that “action” on his soul.  He feels he can never get an absolution from what he did to save his friend.

Addy is attracted to Luke from the start but sees his and Livvy’s relationship as a loving one.  She has no clue of the horrors they survived together so she marks him as a “mentally unavailable guy” because who wants to be 2nd place to another woman right???  Addy has had enough of being 2^nd choice that she will not be anything other than a man’s first choice.

Luke is so cocky and arrogant but completely whipped by Addy.  He sees her and knows she is the color he needs in his dark life.  She is his everything and he will fight this war to convince her that she is his future.  Addy is pushing and fighting and denying all that Luke does to prove to her that she is IT for him.  OMG the things he does for her…..melts any girls heart but she still has those lingering fears and doubts.

They go all in and then have to deal with the past showing up and ruining the future they fought so hard to make happen.  We also get to see Ash and his love plus Gray, Livvy and the babies.  I am super excited to see the boy’s mom getting some romance in her life. She needs to have someone love her like she loves her boys.  But I cannot wait to see Con get his balls handed to him but the woman who will make his lose that 1 million dollar bet to Ash!!!
