If your book boyfriend came to life, would you do anything to keep him?
Of course you would.
And I would too.
Ian and I only have 72 hours together before he disappears back into his book, and the only way to keep him with me forever? True love’s j*zz. That’s right. I need all the creamy, spunky goodness he has to offer. And I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make him mine forever, even if that means marrying a fictional man.
Ok this book was awesome! I came across it in a book group I’m in and boy am I ever glad I decided to give it a shot. It’s so cringe and off the wall but I loved it! It was definitely a nice break from the heavy stuff I’ve been reading and writing. AND it’s a nice change and takes you out of life stuff in general.
So we meet Lyric (I love this name by the way), who is desperate to find her true love but she doesn’t think it’ll ever happen.
After speaking with her friend who gives her a way to make her book boyfriend come to life, she does it and it works! But there’s a catch. They don’t have long together. So she has to do whatever she can to make sure they can stay together forever.
The descriptive word choices for…uh…things had me rolling. I couldn’t stop laughing. But at the same time, it was also super hot.
This book is short and filthy, with the most asinine ways you could ever think of to describe things and I absolutely loved every bit of it.
Elle Boon
Hi, I’m Elle Boon. I’m a reader first and foremost…and of course if you know me you might know me as the crazy lady with purple hair. I live in Middle-Merica with my hubby Mr B and Kally Kay my 13 year old black lab who also thinks she’s my writing partner. (She happens to sit next to me begging for treats and takes a lot of credit). I have two amazing kids, Jazz and Goob, and am blessed to be a MiMi to one adorable little nugget named Romy or RomyGirl who is 6 years old, and a equally adorable nugget named Rio Mac who was born in 2024. Being a Mimi is seriously the best job EVER.
I love writing, reading, and driving my big ole’ jacked up red Jeep Ruby 3.0 with my hubby. I am known for saying “Bless Your Heart” and dropping lots of F-bombs (I mean lots of F-BOMBS, but who is keeping track?). Seriously, I think if there was ever a cross between a trucker and a sailor with a construction worker dialect I would be that poster child 💜
I write what I love to read, and that’s romance, whether it’s about Navy SEALs, HOT as F**K MC heroes, or paranormal alphas. #dontlookdown is a thing you will need to google. “Wink” With all my stories, you’re guaranteed a happily ever after, no matter what twisted thing my mind has come up with. My biggest hope is that after readers have read one of my stories, they fall in love with my characters as much as I have. I truly love creating new worlds and sometimes even words IYKYK. I have many more stories just waiting to be written and promise they’re coming. P.S. I can totally turn just about anything dirty, including simple words, lol. It’s an art 💜
I believe in happily ever after and can guarantee you will always get one within the pages of my books.
XOXO,
Elle Boon

What is one fun fact about you?
I’m 51 and still have the blanket from when I was a baby. It’s called “Softy” and I take it with me everywhere. Mind you, it’s now a version of the original, but I still have one just like the original. It’s pink with purple silky edges that I rub lol.
THIS IS A EROTIC HORROR CIRCUS ROMANCE I don’t say DARK lightly for this one. This book will be HEAVY. Be sure to check the TW before reading. You’re mental health matters most.
Indie Conners, stared my demons in the eye and smiled. She fell for everything I hoped she’d fear, and now she’s making me feel things I don’t want to feel. Obsession, passion, hope and something new and even more dangerous- love.
Lux Julius is everything I shouldn’t want. Everyone warned me about him. But where others see a monster they condemn, I see a lost and misunderstood soul. The more he pushes me away, the harder I’ll fight. I won’t stop until his demons become mine.
Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, and prepare to be seduced by the darkness! Welcome to the Cirque du désir, where lust wears a twisted mask and desire dances with the devil. This is not your average love story; this is a dark circus romance that will leave you breathless, longing for more, and questioning the very nature of your own depraved heart.
But beware, dear reader, for love in the Cirque du désir comes at a cost. As you indulge in the intoxicating spectacle, you may find your own heart entangled in the web of obsession and intrigue. The line between pleasure and pain blurs, and the boundaries of morality fade away like a distant memory. The circus is not just a performance; it’s a seduction of the senses, a carnival of the macabre that will leave you haunted by the echoes of forbidden desires. Witness the contortion of emotions, the fire of passion, and the knife-edge balance between pure ecstasy and despair.
Buy your ticket now and enter a world where lust is a dangerous game, and the only way out is through the darkness. The Cirque du désir awaits, and once you’ve tasted the bitter-sweet nectar of its dark embrace, you’ll never see love the same way again. Step into the darkness, for here, the heart’s darkest desires come alive under the twisted, ominous glow of the big top lights.
Ok first off, like the author says, this book is DARK. So if you have trigger warnings or if you’re unsure if you do, stay clear of this one.
Second, I absolutely loved this one! It’s dark, beyond hot and downright filthy. I would just like to say right away that I’m glad this book isn’t a standalone. I want more of Lux and Indie.
Lux is broken and lost. He runs a circus where nothing is off limits, you don’t get judged and you can have all of your deepest darkest desires taken care of.
Indie and her friends head to this circus for a night of fun but Indie wasn’t expecting the untouchable man, Lux, to be interested in her.
Lux thinks Indie is pure and shouldn’t want him and definitely shouldn’t be in a place like Cirque du désir. But even Indie knows that there’s something about the circus, especially him, that pulls her in. She wants to explore that dark side of Lux more but he refuses.
When he finally gives in, things are explosive between them.
After Indie has to deal with a situation at home, the two meet up again but I have a feeling that all isn’t as cozy as they think it is.
I think more blood will be shed as the series goes on.

From a NY Times & USA Today Bestselling author comes a laugh-out-loud magical mystery set in small-town Tequila Key.
Tequila Key is just like any other small town and I’m just like any other small town psychic. Scratch that. Tequila Key is a world onto itself and some people might think that I am one crayon short of the box.
And, if we’re being totally honest, Tequila Key is just like any other small town – if that town boasts a voodoo priestess and a few white witches for flavor. Turquoise blue water and the best margaritas this side of Mexico make it hard to leave.
I’m Althea Rose, co-owner of Luna Rose Potions & Tarot Shop, and I’ve just stumbled into a love triangle while trying to save my best friend from being accused of murder.
Fun mix of humor and magic with just the right amount of mystery and suspense and the perfect pinch of a love twist.
I listened to One Tequila via Audible while I was sick. Needless to say, I needed a pick me up. When I read the synopsis, I knew it was right up my alley.
At first, it seemed to move a tad too slow for me. But in full disclosure, I don’t do well with audiobooks as I generally prefer to read over listen. However, I was always left with just enough that I kept wondering what was going to happen next. I had to keep listening. Althea had me hooked. She had herself in the middle of quite a mess. If something could happen to her, it was going to happen to her. And her friends, witchy and the norms, made the story all the better. The ending had a twist that I did not see coming and had me literally saying OMG. I laughed at places I probably shouldn’t have and found myself fully enjoying One Tequila!
I am looking forward to seeing what other shenanigans Althea Rose and her friends can get into!

I collect hotel soaps! I’ve been collecting them since I was 8, and I now have over 215 soaps from hotels all over the world.
After the death of their parents, seventeen year old Liv Larson and her younger brother are separated by the foster care system. Her grades slip, her friends drift away, and she gives up on her plans for college. The only thing that matters is keeping the promise to get back to her brother. After months of solitude and anti-social behavior, Liv’s best friend Riley drags her to their high school’s rooftop solar flare party. Despite the beautiful lights dancing in the sky, Liv finds herself captivated by Zander, a mysterious boy with a crooked smile. For a few hours, she allows herself to feel normal again.
That is until what should have been a small flare erupts into a massive solar storm. Cut off from the rest of the world with no sign of rescue, fear and paranoia begin to take their toll on the group. Battle lines are drawn and their ranks are divided. Soon, those left behind must embark on a perilous journey to save one of their own…but, something sinister awaits them in the shadows and it’s undeniably connected to Liv.
Can she keep her promise to reunite with her brother? What are Liv and her friends willing to do to survive? Will their bravery and determination be enough to save them all from a rogue military unit, a terrifying virus, and the things that go bump in the night?
It is not often that I have a difficult time writing a review because it left me speechless. I have had this book living in my TBR pile on my kindle for longer than I like to admit. I decided to go waaaay back and find something that caught my attention and wow, am I glad that I did. This book, just wow. I cannot find the words. If you like post apoc, conspiracy theories, military, teenagers overcoming obstacles, Sci-Fi, just some overall unexplainable craziness, (I am sure I am missing things) then I recommend Killshot.
Icarus is supposed to be a solar flare event but turns into so much more. We experience life just before and for the three days after Icarus. That’s right folks, this book gives us just before the solar flare and for three days after. So much happens and we get to experience is through Liv’s eyes. It is tough, emotional, frightening, mysterious, and overall…just WOW!
“Change is the only thing in this life that is ever guaranteed.”
There are things that people should never be exposed to but after a wicked event like Icarus, it has brought out the worst, but sometimes the best in people. Even if the best, hurts some of those people. It’s a strange combination but one that you won’t understand until you are put in those situations. Liv and her friends, well, experience it throughout this book.
I am now on my way to the next book. Not waiting around for this one!

I never know how to answer this question! I have three kids. My oldest, a daughter, is in her last year of medical school. She’s 33. She traveled the globe and was in the Peace Corps before she decided to become a doctor. I also have two boys. 31 and 27. They are both married. I’m a simple girl. I can boil my passions down to three things. My family. My writing. My love for being on the water. I was born and raised on the water. I raised my children on the water. The very first big ticked my husband and I purchased together (at 19!) was a boat. The call to the water is strong. It is truly my happy place. I will often sit on my dock or take my boat out on the waterways and mix my passions for water and writing. I get so much inspiration from the water’s sounds, smells, and rhythm. It calms me. It brings me peace. Settles my soul.

What is one fun fact about you?
I’m dyslexic. I had no idea until I was I believe 19. Oddly enough, I had flunked 10th grade English. Twice! With the same teacher. And that was after years of struggling through school. And not just in English and reading. But with math and every other subject. I was actually lucky to have graduated HS and college wasn’t going to be in the cards. I tried community college, but failed most of my classes. I got a job answering phones through a family friend. To be honest, I thought what my teachers had told me all through school was true. I was just stupid. Slow. Not capable of much. Until my boss, who was tried of not being able to read my handwriting, asked me if I was dyslexic. He told me his son was. He paid for me to be tested. Even paid for me to take a couple of classes to overcome it. At twenty-one I went back to college. At twenty-four, I graduated with a degree in Business Education. But the best part was that I had fell in love with reading during an elective lit course. My professor even told me I had a unique writing gift. I laughed. filed it away and went about my business. I taught for a few years. Had babies. Then one day, after reading every romance novel at the local small bookstore, I thought to myself, I can do this. So I did. Even though, I’m dyslexic. It’s often hard for me, but I think it’s the funnest and proudest part of me.
