Our dear sweet Peyton never a care in the world always high has been invited to thanksgiving with her best friend whose family basically disowned her for her wanting to go elsewhere for college and didn’t want to go alone. Peyton wasn’t sure what she was getting into but wanted to be there for her friend, after a terrible death defining plane ride, which caused Peyton to pee her pants, they were finally there and waking up her besties brother to borrow some underwear and sweats because the airline lost their bags. but one thing Peyton didn’t expect was her besties brother to look as hot as he did for everything, she heard about him. Can Peyton survive the weekend without smoking weed and will he get back home without getting the Calvert vacation lovebug bite one will never know. well unless you read the book. this was another funny story where high class meets white trash but the classy kind.

And her boss can totally tell that within her articles and wants her to work on it just doing research isn’t enough he wanted her to experience travel, so he sends her on a mission, to the land down under and wants her to just go with no plans only so much money per day for meals and just to have fun. Culture shock is real for Ava, but she meets another American and her just might be able to help her and make her trip better than she ever expected.

Samantha Calvert over worked, barely takes a long vacation was asked by a hotel guest asked if she would want to work on his cruise ship and with all her vacation time built up, she figured why not. Packed and ready to hit the open ocean, on her way another employee ran into her causing her to twist her ankle, ice from the hot bartender who caught her eye but drove Samantha absolutely insane. Will she be able to put up with him for the week while doing a good job or will he work his way into her heart and pants and can that happen while trying to catch a flasher onboard showing off his silver bells. another hilarious adventure with a Calvert sister.

I am completely invested in this series! I read Lost in record time. I cannot put this down!

Reader Note: The first book and this book end in serious cliffhangers. I am expecting this throughout the series. However, the entire series is out so you can binge read! 😊

Cassidy and Luke cannot catch a break. Trouble, that belongs to neither one of them, is seriously stalking them. And on top of it all, the chemistry between these two is super intense. Such a SLOOOOOOOW burn. I feel so bad for them because just when you think they are going to get a teeny tiny little break and maybe be able to release some of the tension, then BAM! One more crazy twist and they are on the run again!

I really got intrigued because we started to learn a bit more about Luke and his past. Cassidy has quite the twist thrown at her about her past as well. As more secrets are uncovered, we start to see how Luke’s and Cassidy’s past, unbeknownst to them, are actually intertwined. Now, the how and why need to be uncovered…. if they can get the files they are after.

I literally had to pull myself away from the book to write this review. I need to run now so that I can start ‘Find’ and figure out how they are getting out of their current mess. I’m loving Project Xol!

I picked this book up on a whim while looking for something different to read. The cover grabbed attention, the blurb piqued my curiosity, and the writing kept my attention right to the very last page.

What is the essence of war? After reading this book, to me, it can mean so many different things.

Angelo is a Marine that has been in some crazy scary situations in warzones. The writing for these situations, even though I am not well versed in this lingo or situations, felt very real causing my heart to race and the hairs on my arms to rise as if I were right in the middle of the action. Angelo’s character is so easy to like that you will feel like “one of the guys”, even though you are only the reader.

Elena, what do I say about her. I have to say that I wanted to hate her. Especially at the beginning with their first encounter. I honestly wanted to strangle her and sort of got irritated because I thought I had the plot all figured out. She was this ice princess that Angelo was going to thaw out. Well, my friends, I had it all wrong!!! Give Elena a chance because she will change your mind!

Now, we have a budding romance forming, while demons from the past come forward, all while working with multiple agencies. It sort of ends up having a Jason Bourne vibe without the amnesia (and I love me some Jason Bourne!). Seriously, this book has a lot of a lot! The story hits on so many points with suspense, thriller, action, romance, hidden identities, kidnapping, military….I mean the list goes on and on and on. I highly recommend this book!

This is the first book I have read by this author and I look forward to reading many more!

Xavier: “I escaped from prison, hauling ass in a stolen car, putting space between me and that barbed wire fence- when the damn thing runs out of gas.Luckily, I come across an old farmhouse that looks empty, even luckier, it is not.The threats about daddy coming home don’t scare me… maybe they should have.”

First off, this book deals with sexual assault and is quite detailed, so if you have triggers, please do not read this. This is extreme and short but packs a punch.

This book starts off with Xavier or X is released from jail and is on a mission. He ends up finding a house in the middle of nowhere that he thought was abandoned but learns that it is not. He meets a family and does unspeakable things to the mom and her two daughters living there. I’ve read a lot of extreme horror but these scenes definitely made me wince. 

Then we meet the dad. I don’t want to give too much else away but let’s just say, X gets what’s coming to him and I enjoyed every second of it.

New Year, new group of kids to walk the halls of Ryder High. But this year we start with them at the cemetery mourning the loss of a beloved member of Ryder High, and everyone getting a teal envelope explaining the start of the running tradition at the school. the next day only one envelope was seen on Phoebe’s locker but liked every month Phoebe wonders why her, why was she picked she stayed to herself and spent extra time in the music booth perfecting her tapes for college. Well ready or not this guy took the saying “when words fail music speaks” for her clues. Will Phoebe be shocked, surprised, excited or not thrilled when her month is up, and he is revealed. Other than making me cry in the first 3 pages, this was another amazing month with a great story that makes you smile in the end.

Danielle Keil grew up and spent the majority of her life in the Chicagoland area. A recent transplant, she is enjoying the Mississippi life, especially the pool in her backyard.
Danielle is happily married for over 10 years, and has two young children, a daughter and a son, who are exact replicas of her and her husband.

So, each couple picked out their costumes and met at the location at the said time but once they secret was revealed of why they were really there the bond between them grew even stronger. the teal envelope is a game at Ryder High that happens each year making people happy and it all started with the heart of never wanting to let love get away and a teal envelope.
