I received this book for an honest review.
Carla was born in Leicestershire in 1970, to parents Barrie and Pamela Day. She moved from place to place, not really settling anywhere for any length of time but collecting life stories along the way, which she would one day pen, on a weather-beaten log in Wales, with her dog by her side.
Carla’s first novel, One Leg Out, is a tragicomic memoir with Gator House Publishers. It highlights her comedy struggles with the menopause. Her short story, a thriller called Scintillation is to be included in the anthology ‘Burning,’ with Burning Chair Publishers, was released in October 2018.
When the Whistler Calls, a psychological thriller, was released in 2018 by Gator House Publishing, however was re released by the author with a third edition in 2022, in both ebook and paperback formats.
Colours of Her Rainbow was released by the author in 2022, and is available in both ebook and paperback formats.
